So sorry PP and Darwin. You are both in my thoughts this season.

The cycle of life... My baby turns one tomorrow. Contemplating the day she will eventually pass is really an exercise in humility and wonder at this human experience; the joy and the sorrow of it all.

My heart goes out to all of you who have sustained the loss of a loved one this year.

My same thoughts and prayers are with you too brother.

Thinking of you Glenn, I will say a prayer for you tonight brother.

God met jou broer Glenn, 'n ster brand helder in die geheue van jou moeder. Neem troos in die wete dat sy kyk oor julle in ewigheid, sal jy nooit alleen is nie. Vrede Glenn.

Lost my dad on 01/16/03 when he was a day past 58 I was going on 27. That's right coming up on the 10th anniversary. Not a great holiday season since but it has gotten better with time. That's all I can tell you all, it does get better with time. But I have a feeling this year will be worse for some reason or another. I guess it will depend if we acknowledge it. I'm sure it will come up tho and it should, no matter how difficult it makes it. He was a good man and deserves to be remembered, even if it hurts more to do so,,,wish you all the best and peace to get thru it.....

I guess it's my turn to share. April of this year, my grandmother was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer that spread. She is getting worse by the day. My grandmother has anywhere from days to months left, your guess is as good as mine is. I pray for her every day that she will somehow be healed. She is only 61...far, far, too young. That is one thing that got me snusing more lately. She was about a half a pack to pack a day smoker, that is just another motive for me to wean myself off the smoking to eventually just about quitting altogether. Thank you, snus, for getting me through this hard time. That alone has been an answer to my prayers....a way to enjoy nicotine and tobacco without all the harms associated with the smoking aspect of it.
