Yah it has a pretty simple molecular structure and is present in lots of plants/animals, our brains etc. The author of DMT:The spirit molecule believes that the pineal gland has the ability to squirt chemicals that can activate it, but there is no direct observational evidence of this yet. Just sort of a pet theory of his, but he supports it pretty well. The book goes into it quite a bit.

I've never seen a coke-head be an ambassador for the drug telling people about the wonderful eye-opening experiences they had. I don't get why people can't make the distinction between certain psychedelics which are not addictive, and allow you to explore your mind, and then drugs like heroin and cocaine which have no developmental value.

Anybody's guess but there were CIA LSD mind control studies which might elude to the fact that there is something concrete and of worth in trying to understand and manipulate these worlds. My guess from mistakes of MKULTRA getting out to the public that whatever is going on now is very well hidden these days. I would have no doubt that somewhere and someplace there are investigative hours being done on DMT... and quite possibly not for our own good like nature intended it to be.

If you liked the movie, go read the book immediately. I read it a while back (I think the audiobook of it) and it was a great read. I believe I have a e-book copy of it if you want it.

DMT and 5-MEO are amazing things. I havn't used them personally but they interest me extremely, and the book (The Spirit Molecule) was great. I agree with voodooman, DMT is almost like an easter egg, a little glimpse into the matrix left by it's creator. I think hallucinogens are fascination myself. The one interesting thing about DMT is that many people have the same experience, and see the same things. The machine elves are a recurring theme for example.

ye I was only stating so he didn't have to fear for the kids. I'd opt to try an extraction myself instead of going the silkroad route, it's less risky in my mind and probably more fulfilling. I completely ****ed it up and haven't tried since but good luck.

It's not really a recreationally drug. If any kids are doing it, hopefully they're well educated on the vastness of the experience, and in a positive state of mind. Probably a good idea to delve into "lesser" psychedelics before attempting this.

In short, extract it yourself. It's actually one of the easiest drugs to procure as long as you are willing to do a little work for it.


Technically, no plants containing DMT are legal to grow in the United States if you know they contain DMT and that DMT is scheduled. Even mimosa bark as sold on the internet is a scheduled substance, and is illegal to traffic in under a strict reading of the current laws. It's generally not enforced because of various legal complications. So, basically, anything is equally illegal if you're planning on growing to extract, as it's a 'DMT containing mixture.'

I guess you would have to know someone. It is found in tons of legal plants, so maybe extraction would be the way to go. Or go to Peru and do the ayahuasca ceremony. Though ayahuasca last for several hours, where smoke-able dmt only last 5-15 minutes.
