Pelosi made millions on inside info by blocking credit card reform - and it was legal, because Congress exempts itself from insider trading laws

According to a former Harvard professor of biology (his name escapes me for the moment) the meaning of life is twofold

        1) acquire lunch

        2) avoid becoming lunch

I dunno about you..............but I have the sinking suspicion that we have all been doused in BBQ sauce.............and are just marinating................... until the smoker is ready
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Would expect better from you Sgreger1 but guess I was wrong. Perhaps you secretly wish to write for Murdoch? The story speaks of the dealings of Bachus, Boehner, Hastert, Gregg and Pelosi. Pelosi, the only Democrat, gets the eye-grabbing header. The story does tell where Pelosi apparently made about $100,000 in an IPO. How you get "millions" from this I can't quite decipher. Hastert is the only person that is clearly spoken of that has made millions. In truth, I'd rather see the detail of Feinstein's financial dealings. Then, again, what would one expect from this motley crew?

They are all corrupt. To make my position clear, the republicans to me are dead as a party, they are so bought out and corrupt that I don't even waste my time drawing attention to their wrongdoings anymore because it's like shouting in the town square that "LIONS WANT TO EAT YOU, THEY ARE LIONS". Everyone already knows it, and it is not news.

Pelosi however, was part of the whole fake "change" movement that was supposedly going to make things different, and this is but one of many instances that prove that no such change occured.

Republicans are very clear in their message, they want to help successfull rich people and corporations, they make that abundantly clear and they succeed in accomplishing that. That is okay with me because ALL citizens, including the rich, deserve representation. However, the democrats have branded themselves as "the people's party" and are supposed to be advocating for the worker. All I hear from them is a bunch of waffling, talking points, and no real action or results. The republicans are doing their mandated job as representatives for their constituents (the rich), what are the democrats doing? I don't want to hear any nonsense about "But the bully republicans made us sign the patriot act and extend the bush tax cuts and continue rendition and secret prison camps and launch new wars and take away your rights to privacy while on the internet!!" etc etc etc. If you cannot accomplish the task assigned to you, than you are not the man/woman for the job.

Congress's investments are beting the market by 12% annually, that is NOT a coincidence.

And I got the million from:

"In the spring of 2008, when Pelosi was speaker of the House, Pelosi made a big play—between $1 million and $5 million—on Visa, the credit-card company."

I think this is one of the best quotes in Snuson history right here.

Understood but cannot agree that everyone knows it. I might add that by "not wasting your time" your OP sounded to me as if it could have been written by Fox&Friends. The use of Pelosi in the header I think is misleading. The second sentence would have sufficed.

Which is an entirely different link than the one in the OP. Don't think the reader can be blamed for missing a conclusion from an unsupplied link that is not supported by the supplied link.

                  I agree. That was classic!

I also agree both parties are corrupt and for the most part only serve the interest of the party not the people.
