Great things other than snus from Sweden

    Sweden blessed us with snus.

It also gave us Arch Enemy! Oh what I would do to meet Angela Gossow! By far one of the sexiest metal goddeses to grace this earth (Originally from Germany, but now resides as a Swede... close enough!)!

        Food?

While we are on the subject, I have seen the foodstuf at Northerner.com. I have read good reviews here about cloudberry jam. Any other recommendations?

Haha, you beat me to it! Seriously, this can't be stressed enough. The newer Saabs like the Grippen are pretty cool, but the old Viggen was legenary! It could take off and land on tiny rural airstrips, stopping in 500 feet from touchdown! It was the only fighter jet to get a missile lock on an SR-71. That and the sound.... it sounded like a wild banshee. All jets are loud, obviously, but this thing just screeched across the skies. A truly amazing feat of engineering.

Menteroja! Although their political message is a little controversial (at best) they are pretty good at making music...

^  Dude, that guy on the top vid is Åke Blomqvist - a legendary Finnish dance instructor.

Yksi, kaksi, kolme, neljä..

...ah, wait a minute. I see what they've done there. Playing the video reveals more than I first anticipated. It all makes sense now

Is it any good? Can you describe the taste? Burnt or mellow...

That Knife album is actually decent.

I think Gevalia might be American with a Swedish facade.

Swedish candy is fantastic. And I'll never forget the SAS stewardesses from the 70s.

Most Swedish candy is fantastic, but you can keep the salty stuff Actually, I loved all the food I tried in Sweden with the following exceptions:
                              1. Smoked Salmon, popular in many cultures, but if you want me to eat it your going to have to cook it
                              2. Any form of pickled herring, again popular in many places I never knew there were so many different kinds till going to Sweden, I found all equally repulsive
                              3. Fermented herring, I have only been offered this once in my life and once is enough good luck getting it down if you can get past the smell
                              4. Salty candy, I actually know some others that like the stuff, I may try it again I think my initial negative reaction was due to surprise since I was not expecting it
