    Thank you Sweden

    for:

    - MANY world-class hockey exports to the National Hockey League
    - Ericsson's Erlang
    - Many great metal bands (Meshuggah, Soilwork, Opeth, In Flames, etc...)
    - Yngwie J Malmsteen (haha) - but not Abba.
    - Saab autos, especially the old pre-GM 900 series (I owned two, ages ago.)
    - Ikea (yes, I'll openly admit to being a fan.)

    Bravo!

That's awesome! I really like Saab design, but I hear the most horrible things about their reliability. What's been your experience? And how is it from Finland?
No!!!! Saabs when they were Saab were one of the most reliable cars made. Then GM bought Saab, need I say more??

The Classic 900 (Pre 1993 - 1994) are one of the most amazing cars ever built. There are hundreds still around that have 700,00 - 1000000 miles on them. Mine has 230,000 miles and she still drives like a dream. Now the transmissions were a bit weak, expect to replace every 100,000 miles or so. But if you can keep rust away, they will last forever.

As far as I know, only the convertibles were made in Finland. the rest were made in Sweden.

You know, it's actually possible to like both. Yngwie totally jams (to use the appropriate vernacular).

Throw the two together and you have some very interesting music, do you not?

I think they've created medication for that possibility!

Yeah, something like that. Double kick drum, lots and lots of arpeggios, lip gloss...

There's nothing wrong with the reliability of the GM-era Saabs. I have two of them, an 02 and and 05. No problems yet.

And of course the women here are very nice. Some of them are pretty shallow and dumb, but many are hot.

What I also like in Sweden is the term "fika", which means a break for coffee and buns/cookies/bread. Our coffee is also really good (speaking of coffee).

I like the new Wasa crispbread. It's actually from Norway, and I suspect it's made by Kavli, but it tastes better than I remember Kavli tasting.

I agree that's very tasty if you can handle the caviar/fish taste.
