This all sounds very noble but what are they trying to achieve? Do they want a revolution against economics? If that is the case, I assume they've got a better system? I'd like to hear it because all they've told me is that I've got to grow my own food and invest in gold. That's it.

You know what? I read frosted's response before I went for my bike ride today. !00 deg at 6:30 but I still decided to get my exercise. I almost died trying to do what I do regularly. Point is, don't take the heat for granted. But whilst I was riding I thought about frosted's post, and came to this conclusion amongst others. When you are getting f#cked in the ass, are you thinking, well this sucks, but there's nothing better, soo I will take this ass f#cking and deal with it. Or are you thinking ass F#cking sucks and there has to be a better way not to get f#cked in the ass. Or are you scared that you will die if you no longer get f*cked in the ass, so the only way to survive is to keep with the ass f*cking. You all need to answer these questions for yourself. But to me fighting the ass-f#cking is more important than anything.......

Question: When all the major corporations are destroyed, who's making all the MacBooks all these hackers are using? They're obviously fond of V for Vendetta, The Matrix, The Wall, etc...do they really think these movies would have been produced without the expectation of monetary gain?
Not questioning sincerity, and I have the utmost respect for anyone who wants to change his/her world, but I'm just not seeing a plan for progress...just the same tired call to anarchy. Tearing down the system is all well and good, as long as you have a system to replace it with.
Your MacBook will still need electricity after the revolution...

I don't believe we should accept tyranny for the sake of macbooks.
That aside, the destruction of power grids and waterways is not in anyone's interests. The idea is to restore power into the hands of the people, where it belongs.

I guess I'm still confused. Are we trying to tear down the global economy, or simply governments that we feel are tyrannical?

Originally posted by MawdrynUnderstood...but with a complete teardown of the system, restoration of utilities like electricity, clean water, sanitation, internet access, etc. would be a long, tedious process. 1 month without electricity would cause MASSIVE loss of life throughout the world. Couple that with poor water supply in many places, and it would be catastrophic.
