Jewish Court Sentences Dog To Death By Stoning

Seriously the world's gone mad. I'm glad the dog escaped.

I've seen a video of a woman being stoned to death. The barbarity was indescribable.
If you ask why was I watching it I'd reply in all honesty - educational.
My whole life has been seriously affected by religious nuts - religious people that kill. It isn't really that long ago in Britain that people were hung drawn and quartered for being heretics. I remember in Munster Germany where I was posted, still hanging from the church spire is a small cage where they put people to starve to death.

When a persons religion affects my life even slightly, I get rid of them from my life. I've even got rid of people from Facebook simply because they were heavily religious.

Religion is a personal thing but unfortunately people see fit to have it affect every part of your life - politically, legally, socially etc etc.
Religion for me, should have no place outside the home or your own head.

The problem is not with "faith", it's what people do with that "faith" that is the issue.

And we know that throughout history people cannot be trusted with it. Which is why I'd prefer people kept it to themselves.

I can apply that statement to almost anything. At the core, most religions including Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Buddhism (yes, I know thats not a religion), have the same core beliefs and a very compassionate theme. We need to love and respect each other while trying to become enlightened. There is nothing wrong with that. I also believe that there are many rivers to achieve that goal and we will follow the one we need to obtain our objective.

And yet, none of them respect those of us who choose no river at all.

You know what? I still think that is just another type of river. A dry river but nonetheless a river. We get what we need in life.

I don't follow religion but I wouldn't say that my river is dry. I'm actually quite spiritual - but that's a matter for me and me only.
