What has this forum done to my brain?! I read GoVegan's first reply an admire how well thought out it was. I partially agree with the next comments, but then I get here:

I'm not saying I treat people like shit.... But when you work in the service industry, you can't help but think these things in your head. Sure, everyone has their own mountain to climb but some like to start their climbs at your ball sack.

Nothing when dealing with people as a whole is 100%, so I tend to go on a case by case basis. LMAO

And let's not forget... A lot of those times you are wishing something bad.... It's just a reaction not a lifestyle

Ive spent my whole life mad at the world and pissed by every asshole that's wronged me. If I made a list of all the people who I feel have ****ed me over the years I would start getting calls from GreenPeace to address how many rainforests had to be cut down to make the paper for said list. It would be that long...

That being said, GoVegan is right, feeling angry all the time just ends up hurting your own health. That's what's happened to me and I am finally lettting go of it and gaining control of my life again. All the anger starts manifesting itself as anxiety and stress and it starts taking a toll on the body and the mind and it only hurts you in the end. Learn to take a deep breath, and find comfort in the fact that whether or not God exists it seems the universe has a way of dealing with things and all of these assholes will get what's comin to them eventually.

What was it that initially pissed you off anyways? I've had to talk myself down from the ledge a number of times just since the start of this year so I can relate, especially after my incident with the cops selling my bike I swore that was the end man I about snapped and almost ended up on the watchtower in the prone position lol.

EDIT: @ Tim. Service industry = shotgun to the face. By the time I was done working my first job at Subway when I was 16 I had already lost all hope in mankind. I couldn't imagine ever working at the DMV or something, I wouldn't be able to take it. Which is why my only professional ambition is to be in a cubicle where no one can seee my computer screen or bother me lol.

I worked in a hotel for 5 years when I was going through college. Yes, I met a few jerks and people out there trying to rip you off but I also learned that the majority of people out there are very kind and have something to teach us. I have met some absolutely fascinating people near the coffee maker in a hotel lobby. I also get to meet fascinating people everyday at work and I have realized that life is basically a HUGE classroom. The type of people we choose to focus on and what we decide to learn from them is entirely up to us. A good book to read is "Way of The Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman. It is spiritual but not religious. The book itself contains a lot of insight about life in general.

Nothing really happened sgreger. Just that you see the same assholes day in and day out, saying the same shit all the time. I'm sure you know how it is. Everytime they open their fat mouths, you just want to go to work on them with a Phillips head screwdriver.
I'm a little on edge right now. My dad is having a heart bypass as I type. Just have a short fuse right now I guess.
                  Got to remember to breathe.

Thanks guys. I do appreciate it. I derailed my own thread. I'm sure he'll be fine, but it's really scary to have our old man cut open. After my wife and Vegan's dad last year, it's just too phucking much for me without getting ornery.

Honestly, is there a thread on this forum that hasn't been derailed? It's the Snuson way!
