Killthecan site seems like a bunch of guys that started dipping when they were 14, and now they are 17 and wanna quit, so they think you have to be a radical extremist to quit, and fill your heart with hate for nicotine. It's a big turn off for me. Even AA is not so extremist.
I think if someone wants to quit that's all well and good. But i don't think one has to be a radical moron to do it.
And I don't believe all that extremist cancer hype they feed each other. People get lung cancer all the time and never smoked, and people get throat, tongue cancer too and never used oral tobacco. And now they say alcohol, and other dietary habits can lead to cancer.
I don't think tobacco, alcohol, or twinkies are good for you, and might increase some chance of something worse, but I think one has to have a genetic predisposition, and would probably get something regardless if they used anything or not.
I'm still trying to find out what dip Roger Ebert used, and what brand of ciggs the women who was married to Christopher Reeve used.
