This all sounds like mere marketing hype. A snus twice as strong as what is currently available simply has no market either in Europe or here. I have however heard from a local Pakistani gentleman that in the country's Afghan border areas that super potent moist snuff is used that would bring a big strong infidel to his knees. This "Extreme" stuff may technically have 30 mg of nicotine in it but I'll bet that the Ph is adjusted so that far less is actually available to the user. Unless it tastes like crap I'd be tempted to try it. My nic tolerance is high enough that full size Thunders and Skruf Extra Starks don't bother me much at all so the Odens stuff might be an interesting experience.

Hey Darwin was the stuff called naswar? My buddy gave me some and also touted it's super strength but I didn't find it to be remarkably potent. I did a little weak review of it in the "other tobacco" section.

Well, Skoal Longcut Straight has a little of over 28mg of nicotine. Although, Thunder, Lucky Strike Nites have yet to knock me on my ass, I just can't see me needing 30mg of vitamin n, 12-16mgs is more than enough for me...

I've tasted this snus 2 weeks ago. Now it is my favourite product. It has quite enough nico punch, smell of citrus on the background and perfect tobacco. Nico punch is smoothand i become filled with nico after 20 min. Nice product!!!

The problem is that just like everything else... You will get used to it. Someone made a comment about "brand loyalty" I can't think of a better way to build brand loyalty than to make a product that contains so much Nicotine that after you use it for a while every other snus leaves something to be desired. Thunder used to be something that I had to be careful about how many portions I used. Now I chain snus 16 Mg all day and I have only been using snus for 4 months.

I'll never buy this. God forbid it tastes amazing, and becomes my daily snus. 30mg of nicotine... that's just too much. I was even considering downgrading from sterks, since I thought even THAT was too much...

According to good old reliable Wiki... The LD50 of nicotine is 50 mg/kg for rats and 3 mg/kg for mice. 40–60 mg (0.5-1.0 mg/kg) can be a lethal dosage for adult humans.

Okay, an update.

The Oden's Extreme is (in final form) around 22mg of nicotine.

Though we don't actually know the content of Skruf, other than it being "high nicotine", it's estimated to be around 19mg. So shy of Makla this new Oden's is the strongest stuff I've seen.

Impossible! haha only a market jippo. trust me! unless they have invented a new tobacco grade..
It´s also against the law to add pure nicotine in a snus product in Sweden (So perhaps that product is only sold outside of Sweden!, in that case i would think twice trying it)

Doesn't nicotine rustica have a pretty high nicotine concentration it seems like you could mix that in like I think 10-20 percent with top leaf dark air cured tobacco and get to 30mg easy. It would be expensive though.
