2012: The Final Prophecy

The Mayan prophecies predicted World War I, the rise of Hitler, and the Boxing Day tsunami. In 2012 they expect a natural disaster to wipe out mankind. Could they be right again?

dude not that I believe in any of it, but the mayans weren't "predicting" anything. They made a calendar that ended within this year that's pretty much it. Not sure where this predicting thing came from, oh yeah todays media.......

There are on average about 5 earthquakes per year that are 8.9 magnitude or similar. They just tend to not hit in populated areas. Today's earthquake was not out of the usual in any way and is a very common event on planet earth. Luckily, Japan has good building codes so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.




RE: 2012. Pris, I have heard this thing about the mayan calendar predicting WWI etc etc but I have never seen any real evidence for it. It is sort of like the Nostre Dames predictions that I want to believe so badly, but they are so broad and general that they are sure to become "true" someday.

I mean really, here's my predictions for the future:

*There will be a great war!
*In this war, there is a 5 headed lion! This lion represents the 5 superpowers who will be in the war! (notice how this is super easy to fulfill, since eventually a big enough conflict will happen that it would appear that my prediction has come true

*The world will end! (in 4.2 billion years when the earth supernovas).

Does anyone have a link to some more stuff on the mayan thing RE: past predictions that have become true? I have yet to see anything predicted with any real accuracy, broad predictions that there will be conflict in the world or that the world will "end' some day just don't cut it.




What could possibly happen in 2012 that would end the world? So far the thousands of world ending predictions have been wrong, and I don't see any real evidence that this is any different. Though I do want to believe.

I don't care.....who wants to know the day it all ends or the day they will die? There would be lots of time spent thinking about that....and a ruined surprise. I just enjoy what I do throughout the day and not get too pissy over things I can't control.

there has been alot of end world predictions. So far after many of these predictions passed and nothing happened i call BS on the whole thing. Now on the other hand these documentaries are quite interesting if you follow them whole heartedly or not. It shall be a good watch.

www.letmewatchthis.com has alot of sweet doc's new and old. Some are very interesting and well done, even if i think their ideas are based on bs and lies. I watched a very good one the other day on Islam.
