Edit: Man, I just checked itunes and it says the album isn't out yet and that it is in pre-order, you can only buy 1 song. Is this an itunes thing, like could I go buy a physical copy of the CD or is it not out yet?



Edit 2: Lol, someone leaked the clean album online so the beastie boys retaliated by releasing the full explicit album. You can hear the full thing on their myspace. The beastie boys ****ing rock! Only they could have a comeback CD that is as good as their other ones, it's like they never even took a break. I am so paying them money come May 3.

Well legally it comes out May 2nd. But you can get a torrent. I already have the vinyl preordered.

Last year was horrible for music. I only bought three albums. The Gaslight Anthem, Alkaline Trio, and My Chemical Romance.

This year is different.

Social Distortion and The Get Up Kids have already put out an album in January.

I'm looking forward to:

R.E.M. - Collapse Into Now (The 5 songs I've heard have all been really good)

Rise Against - Endgame (I've been a fan since the first album, before they were ever on the radio)

Screeching Weasel - First World Manifesto (the band that got me into punk rock, it's their first album in 11 years)

Green Day - Awesome As F@*k! (Just a live album, but it does have an unreleased song on it)

Foo Fighters - Wasting Light (First single White Limo sounds like 1995 Foo! It rocks)

Yellowcard - When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes (another band I listened to before they were on the radio)

Flogging Molly - Speed Of Darkness (first song sounds kinda 60's ish. Different, but still really good)

Other bands who have something planned for this year: No Use For A Name, Blink-182 (finally!), The Ataris, Thrice, Strung Out (They requested fans send in pics of tattoos, hope I made it in!) Red Hot Chili Peppers (though Fruschante left the band, hope it doesn't suck!) New Found Glory, Weezer (though, I don't have much hope for this), The Offspring.

You also forgot that Incubus is coming out with a new album and so is Chevelle (if anybody knows who Chevelle is)
