That is hilarious! Loved the guy's reaction, like he couldn't believe what he was hearing (the same reaction I had). Said it before, not a fan of Olberman or O'Reilly but in this case... "1" for Olberman lol

Oh cummon, can't explain the tides? Orielly, possibly the highest rated news show of the last decade, with an unlimited budget and the best staff money could buy and THAT is the rebuttal they set him up with for the interview? "Here you go Mr Orielly, it's your set notes. Just bring out the tides argument and you'll be golden!".

Orielly is a clown though. I run into the "evolution" topic often with my conservative acquaintances, and I just try to avoid it when possible. Their favorite thing is claiming "x does y, but scientists can't explain how it does it = GoD!".

And Olberman is such a pompous jackass. Really though I like his firebrand style, but his acting and jokes are terrible. It looks like he's secretly nervous, like the kid who messes up his line in a play but just keeps rolling with it hoping nobody notices.

They are both comedians. They are clowns without makeup actually but have great stand-up routines. Their routines basically consist of making up "facts" and seeing how many people will believe them, pretty funny most times.

I think I stated this opinion once before but if you watch without getting emotionally involved you will see that they are reading instead of speaking. Even on multi-panels. I think this was stated in the OUTFOXED documentary.
This shows that the whole thing is tele-prompted, coached info. They are basically acting 90% percent of the time with a few opinions thrown in. It is not as real as you might believe.

Years of propaganda fed to the masse's and for the current day they are still on top of their game.

Well that's half true and half not. Yes, they do use teleprompters due to the nature of the business. Many times Orielly or whoever will decide what he wants the segment to look like, write it all out, then read it from the teleprompter. Just because it is written on a teleprompter doesn't mean it isn't orielly's words, as the teleprompter is just like taking notes with you to a speech that you read off of.

The big guns have a personality but the trend of info is all created by back scene producers and writers. Olbermann is definately reading and I dont believe at all that is his original content.

Of course it's not his content. The Man has a rather commanding voice and it is being utilized, Tho I feel it was better utilized on Sportscenter..........

I actually was channel surfing when I caught this on the tv. I about fell out of my chair laughing.

I mean who doesn't know why the tides work? Who threw the moon in orbit over earth, now thats a better question.

But the sad thing is the atheist guy on this program was sadly weak in his arguments, seemed all he wanted to do was plug his website and roll over to O'Reillys' weak debate. I would have owned O'Reilly on this one. But on the other hand I am not trying to convert anyone into being a non believer.
