    Really NY Post.

Apparently the NY Post just couldn't be bothered to make an effort the other day.

This was their headline story the other day, across two pages. The front page said "Should the leader of the free world dress like this – even on vacation?"

Honestly, that's fµ¢ḱing laziness right there. There are plenty of easy, legitimate reasons to criticize Obama, and they decide the best one for a headline is the fact that he wore flip-flops to the beach? That's like making your greatest criticism of Stalin the fact that he was rarely clean-shaven. I don't know how a rag like the NY Post is still a viable business, but I'm hoping they (and all their readers) spontaneously combust from an excess accumulation of sheer stupidity.

That's what America is about now. Tabloid gossip is easier to digest than real issues :^/

Really? What do they want him to wear on a beach? Cowboy boots made from the skin of a rattlesnake he caught while clearing brush on his ranch?

I couldn't agree more. They are like "ZOMG, Obama wore duh Sandalz!" or "ROFLDOOM omg he is golfing!"

I don't like this new trend of reporting on how much money it costs when the president flies somewhere, or how much he's on vacation etc. As president you work nearly 24 hours a day and I am sure it is tiring. Playing a few rounds of golf is not something I will penalize another human being for, especially one with that job. And who cares what he's wearing? I saw an article the other day talking about how skinny he's gotten, and a whole piece on whether he may or may not be skipping meals.

They've made a tabloid celebrity out of him, and I feel bad for him for that, but it comes with the job. But I agree, why nit-pick on stupid shit when there is a vast overwhelming list of things to legitimately be pissed at him for.
