I think they are vegetarians largely :-)

We don't have many squirrels in Romania..

They are found more in the mountain areas ....

You can buy them as pets though ... I'd like to have one of these.... but someone told me that they bite humans if they're left around the house, lolz

Squirrels can make very good pets, and flying squirrels are somewhat common for an uncommon pet in the USA. Like all rodents, they can bite, and it hurts like hell when they do, but they aren't especially bitey compared to other critters. I'd imagine they could be pretty destructive. They have to chew to stay healthy, and if they don't have anything appropriate, your furniture, and electric wires work well enough :^D

Damn it, imagine having one of these chewing all the furniture :|

I've kept a rabbit for a couple of weeks once and it damaged quite an expensive living room furniture ... since then I shipped it to my Grandmother's house .. lolz

Squirrels would be be funny to have around the house, but just don't want to see one of these biting my neck at night or something =))

I have a Guineea Pig Now though ;-D
