You told me what? You have told me what has happened and kind of said what they are. I am asking which of those statements aligns with your why. In short I am asking you the age old question of nature vs nurture. It is really quite simple.

I haven't stated my opinion, I am asking you to clarify yours. So if it is nurture and you agree that they were nurtured under apartheid, then explain to me who is responsible for that nurture in your view.

Aparthied or not, there were and still are masses of poor ignorant uneducated peoples, all over the world. It's been over 15yrs now since that system has been gone, and it's worse there now.
