I understand octupi are pretty smart for invertibre, but invertibe are dumb. how smart are they relative to a dog? From the little ive seen they appear to be substantially above the intelligence of pretty much anything in the sea that isn't a dolphine. I hear they even show feelings.

Life is so amazing. I hope we find animal life on other planets, how awesome would it be to see a planet evolving right before out eyes, where the fish are just stepping on land or the organisms are just gaining intelligence!

That is awesome. Makes me want my local cable provider to offer Nat Geo Wild to take the place of Human, er I mean Animal Planet. What's with all the reality crap on Animal Planet.
