The show was pretty good, apart from the anti-Nazi bias, and the unsubstanciated claim that Hitler commited suicide.
It covered some important things. The Haunebu craft, their anti-gravity knowledge, the stargate, the Vril, Aldebaran. It didn't mention Neuschwabenland though. But for a controlled information entertainment TV show, it was pretty good on this topic. I liked how it said how everything we have today, in terms of all areas of scientific progress, we have to thank the Nazis.

Wow, the world is just getting crazier and crazier. Many of the things that get discussed here at SnusOn somehow are making it to mainstream television shows.

I watched the ancient (atlantis) civilization underwater one and almost half of the Nazi one to the point of discussion of looking for secret knowledge (like the arc) before the turkey feast finally took me out for the night. Would like to see the whole thing this weekend.

I think we need to get a few facts straight here. Many Americans seem to be looking at Nazi-Germany through rose-tinted glasses.

1) National Socialism was a totalitarian regime. You had no freedom whatsoever and were at the mercy of the madmen that rose to power after the failure that was the Weimar Republic.
2) Any advances in science and technology that were achieved during the third Reich were not a direct consequence of the national socialist ideas, rather, it was huge funding and great freedom given to researchers that did it. As the US proved by making a nuke before Germany did, it could be done by any government willing to spend the resources.
3) National Socialism is directly responsible for the gruesome deaths of hundreds of thousands of their own citizens, not to mention millions of people across Europe. This was simply an execution of all dissidents.
4) Whether Hitler committed suicide or not is totally irrelevant.

To be honest, as an objectivist (of sorts) I'm appalled that anybody would admire a government that trampled personal liberties and initiated force against its own citizens. I understand that you're coming at this from a rather unusual angle, but even then, you should see that, when you tally it up, national socialism brought it's people a lot more harm than it did good, and that's putting it mildly to say the least.

roo- the problem with so-called "neo" Nazis, are they are basically Klansmen with a cooler unifrom. They do not represent a true National Socialist socio-economic system. They are not National Socialists, and they just abuse and degrade the symbology, like those idiot prisoners you see on TV with their tattoos. They'd be in prison on the firing squad if they lived in NS Germany. And where do you get your ideas? I have nothing against immigrants, but I do have something against criminals and trespassers. I love immigrants, and world cultures. You have been fed this Klan crap from too many TV shows, and I 100% despise that crap. TV propaganda and defamation war propaganda is what you have been fed, and accepted it like Stalins disciple without question. You should know me more than your post lets on.

You're absolutely correct. The so-called Neo-Nazis have very little in common with the national socialists of the time. That said, I abhor the actual national socialism as much as I do the barbaric racists that we have today.

The term characterizes the rejection of pluralism, individualism, materialism and globalism. The ideology generally supports the creation of a self-sufficient corporatist economy and a single-party state.

Any ideology that rejects individualism and materialism is diametrically opposed to my ideals. "I swear by my life, and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine. (Atlas Shrugged)".

Well, we don't have to agree politically idealistically. My personal ideal is a mix of libertarian personal liberty and state fascism(though the Nazis were National Socialists and not Mussolini Fascists).
