This is just a trickle down from how governemnt operates post 911 and the evolution of it.
You can see the same thing happening to reporters asking questions to Bush/Obama and God don't even get close to Hillary or she will have them taze you in the face!

I dont agree with the security for doing this at all but on the flip side if you cannot see it as smear then you are still in the left/right paradigm.
