    Tobacco nazi webiste

    Hi
I just created this account to show you guy this site with BS propaganda from tobacco nazis
    http://www.thetruth.com/
I dont know if someone has already posted it.
What do you think about it?
It isnt like kids are buying snus and thinking its candy, not with those orbs too. But I dont think these orbs is on the market in Sweden. At least not in local shops. In sweden there is snus in almost every local shop.

Yes, im also with them in that smoking is killing people, but its seems they are targeting snus. But do those stuff really happen to peaple who smoke? They get cancer and die, and that is enough

I didnt find anything about snus, but the cigarettes are not attracting to children as candy, so the propaganda that way is pointless.

Nothing more than a spam site ... unless you turn autoplay off (near the top of the page).

All of the anti-snus rhetoric isn't because it's dangerous, but because it's dangerous to U.S. big tobacco. That's the real threat. I believe that Philip Morris is actually the company behind the truth ads to begin with, so if they can lump a safer, cheaper, threatening product into their dangerous products list, they will.

That video seemed more aimed at ST, specifically, dip. Truth.com seems to be a mostly American site, and they run ads on American tv all the time, so it would make sense to me that they are aiming squarely at dip like Skoal, Cope, Grizzly, etc, with that ad, and not at Swedish Snus, as most Americans don't know jack about Swedish Snus.

The site is about non smoke related tobaccoproducts like dip I think, and it doesn't have anything snusrelated anywhere. Im with them when it comes to smoke tobacco though.

I'm against all efforts to take free choice away from people. If you want to smoke, great! smoke. Same with snus, chew, BigMacs, and Coke. People need to mind their own business, and quit trying to save people from themselves. I'm sure there's better places they could spend their money than on infringing on other's lifestyles.

I totally agree but sadly not in this country. This country was founded by people seeking one thing, freedom from oppression from their government. Yet we allow the government to dictate to us what we can and cannot do. I look at it this way, if you aren't hurting anyone in the process or potentially harming anyone by your actions then so be it. Its your choice not the government's choice.

That used to be the anti's position. Back in the old days, before they had all their power that we gave them, their attitude was (paraphrasing) "if you want to kill yourself, we don't care, we just don't want you taking innocent people with you". They were referring to 2nd hand smoke of course. But now that they successfully got smoking banned everywhere indoors (and are trying for cars, and homes too now) they turned to anti-tobacco completely. Whether I use a portion or not should have absolutely no bearing on anyone else, unless I routinely grab strangers and force their mouths open and spit my used portions into them, it doesn't matter what I do.

We will lose this battle (the tobacco one) as we aren't fighting and non-tobacco users will not fight for us (although some have). But the anti's will find resistance once they have banned tobacco completely and start on their next agenda and it affects more people. Then all the whiney little bitches will start crying, "Why? How did this happen? Who gave them all the power?"

<sigh> sorry, sore subject for me LOL

That's my analysis also. I'd /almost/ like to see a heavy tax proposed on soda or fast food. While it's against all my principles, I like to fantasize that it would cause people to get a clue, and the lightbulb would go off. I know better of course. Most can't see past their own petty wants and desires :^/

Well said lxskllr. Nothing upsets me more than these douche bags on a crusade. Once we start taxing their earthly pleasures be it a Big Mac or Soda or what have you then perhaps they will see.
