Yep... finally took the plunge and bought an eVic. Picked it up at http://www.vapealotshop.com/Joyetech-EVIC-KIT_p_27.html for $79.00 with free shipping. Until now, all I've been using are the basic Ego batteries with static voltage. Being able to control the voltage does make a BIG difference on how eJuices taste.

Thanks for the advice. I've also been using a cheap pass through hooked up to a regulated variable power supply but that has to many limitations... ie... not portable and restricted to my workbench. Up until now, all I've been using Bud Sapphire atomizers... nothing rebuildable. Any suggestion on vendors with good deals?

Vapor Joe's dot com has daily deals. Itll drain your bank account. Anybody who carries a RBA you are interested in check or that stores coupon codes before ordering. I also think a clone genesis is a viable deal. They have a lot of RBAs now worth studying up on and some people think its the builder that makes the difference between good and great so clones are a real value. Im a newbie though and lazy! I got RBAs in case FDA does something stupid, have for back up and for something to try but i love premade atties.

Youre welcome Wa3zrm. My first rba was a phoenix mini clone and i bought precoiled wicks too. Used an eyebrow plucker to maneuver with things! Took all the mystery away plus success was easier. Im as dumb as they come playing around with that kind of stuff so if i can do it anyone can. Tank style RBA requires expert wick making. You can make a lot of different wicks. You can test their wicking ability before wrapping in some cases. See how high and how fast a particular thickness of ejuice wicks on it. Then take into account what wrapping it in how many coils and how loose but not too loose might change that. They wrap coils around paper clips of different sizes ( for one example) and thread the wicks thru like with a dental bridge threader for floss? it goes on and on of ourse but tats why im stuck on dripping rbas and bottem fed rbas ( just dripping from the bottom up) because tank rbas intimidate me. But i love pyrex tanks! They have many new things to use now a days. Its mind boggling. The better you get at making work wht you have in hand the better te next device will work for you. You can make most of them work very well. Sometimes its a bumb deal mst te time its user error. Always a hard pill to swallow. Im not very much in to fiddle factor but my mid s so curious and i jst like to see for myself on any things. Verrry expensive. Its a good idea to keep in mind you dont really need the next best thing to make your vaping experience better. It is addicting however, most of it is dispsable in the long run so its pretty easy to justify "stocking up"! And its advisable to vape different flavors so you dont get vapors tung. Where nothing tastes right at all for awhile. Days even. Hate that. I suck hard candies whie i vape when it happens
