      I don't get a hangover, period.

Wait, we are talking about cannabis, right?

Chronic, weed, pot, grass, herb, ganja, trees, dope, bud, sensi, sinsemilla, green gold, purple gold... There are too many damn ways of saying the same thing, so I just call it what it is.

          -------------

I'm glad to hear the vape is working out well for you. What setting do you like to vape at?

Yes yes, we call it skunk too. Like I said, there are too many damn ways of saying it. You'll find that everybody uses their own term (be it 'weed' or 'skunk' or 'trees' or whatever).

Just thought I'd give all of you a quick update..

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Arizer Extreme Q vaporiser.. Bought it from PuffItUp (Thanks again, Parrot; and if you're reading this, thanks again Randy).

                I'll keep you all posted

Good for you mate. How do you like it? My brother in law has the Extreme Q and it works great and has a smaller....everything. You might think about getting an xtra glass whip elbo tho. Those tend to break.

Randy @ Puffitup is a pretty cool dude imo. He will take care of you.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I still think my DaBuddha kicks all other vaporizers ass. Best purchase i have ever made, and have not smoked once since I bought it almost 2 years ago. Also have the Magic Flight Launch Box for when i go out. But hands down, I would vote the DaBuddha (and the Silver Surfer) as the best vaps for home use.

I've got some great vaporizers. One is called a Reo Woodvil 18490 and the other is a Reo Mini. I use e-juice from Backwoods Brew, which has the very best tobacco juices imo.

Funny you mention the glass whip elbow... I just broke one of them by accident.

Well... PuffItUp didn't work out so well (due to a glitch in their checkout system). Not their fault, I don't blame them; but I was in a bit of a hurry to get a stationary vaporiser, so I told them to cancel it from their end, and I bought one today at a local smoke shop in the University District for $150.

It works great. I think the dual functionality of using a balloon or whip is a neat feature, but I prefer the whip. It's got a sleek 'midnight steel' body, blue LCD, blue floor LEDs, and a remote with power toggle, three fan settings, preset temperatures with +/- adjust, floor LED/audio toggle, and adjustable timer (0,5-4 hrs). I recommend starting at 200° and adjust to your taste. I like to set the fan on 1 to 2 while using the whip. Give the unit about 5-10 minutes to warm up before using.

Excellent vaporiser, another fine product from Arizer... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Regarding PuffItUp: I'll give them another shot sometime (I have my eyes on some of the Extreme Q accessories..... and I need to replace that damn elbow )

TIP: I found a video review where the broadcaster suggested packing your flowers in the elbow instead of the chamber. I find that this works well, but I find it easier to use the chamber (you may need to increase your temperature since the sensors are reading the core; not the chamber where it's slightly cooler).

EDIT: I have been playing around with the vape a bit and I've found an optimal solution that works for me: Set the unit to 205 (206°) to warm-up, have the fan at 1. Once the chamber is hot and ready, turn off the fan and dial it down to 180°. Add your flowers and start vaping.. You can adjust the temperature up to 185-195. Turning the fan back on is optional. You can vaporise manual or assisted (I recommend the fan speed set to 1 or 2).

I've been using my Iolite which vaporizes at 190 centigrade - it's weird you kind of get stoned... it's good... but you don't get really stoned. Is this what they call a body stone? I don't think it's as addictive either nor do i have anything much if at all in terms of withdrawels. A good harm reduction measure?

Here's the best way I can describe vaporisation: It's a clean stone. You don't get the cloudiness that you get with traditional smoking.

A good harm reduction measure? Absolutely. Next to edibles, convection based vaporisation is the way to go.
