Wow, you definitely have some interesting pipes. Very, very nice, thanks for sharing.

Smokers Forums is here, an amazing place. Not quite as good as Snuson, but a huge community that really takes care of their own

I'd love to get into pipe smoking and cigar. I used to do both. But I now live in a smoke free home, and I just don't want to have to go outside in order to smoke. Most all my tobacco use is in front of the TV or computer.

And I do hope you get that chance again one day. But you gotta do what feels right for you. What I still am so amazed and grateful we have so many choices. All I knew for 30+ years was cigarettes. I hated them, but could never walk away for good. Now I have snus, snuff, for me a pipe. Just wonderful.

Whenever your time comes again, let me know. I will make you an amazing deal for some wonderful aged tobacco I have in my cellar.

Seriously, I have been just obsessed as of late, had two orders, $200 worth of pipe tobacco come this week alone. I have almost 6 pounds put away now, over a years worth already. So when your time comes, and it will eventually. My turn now to help you out.

What a great thread. Glad I bumped into it. I spend too much time over at snuffhouse.org. I'll be checking out smokersforums now too.

                    Ooh, another piper. Yay!!!

SF is a good place, with tons of great information. Kinda fun being a newbie someplace new.

I love my snus, snuff, and pipe. Three communities that are all passionate about their loves, I am just grateful I get to finally enjoy tobacco in all it's forms.

Well, I finally had some cash lying about, and decided to give pipes another go. I had previously bought a Dr. Grabow, but no matter what I did (cleaned it, tried puffing much slower, etc) it was fairly nasty. The first few smokes out of it were nice, and then every thing after was just extremely sour, and stung my tongue on the first pull. I ordered myself a Savinelli Churchwarden Billiard pipe and a 50g tin of Frog Morton. I figure it's a cheaper pipe, but from a decent enough company, and Frog Morton seems to be a fair enough blend from what reviews I've read. It's coming Albany, so unless USPS diverts it to Mass like they do with Mr. Snuff orders, it should be here by the end of the week, Saturday at the latest.

Savinelli is my favorite pipe maker, I have two now.

Frog Morten is one of my favorite blends

For any reason you still decide it isn't for you, PM me and I am sure we can find a fair price to take everything off of you. I have done that f0r several other folks these past few months.

But I hope you love it.

I'm starting to get antsy waiting for my pipe and tobacco to show up. As far as I know it still hasn't shipped yet.

They have a pretty big selection, and I knew I wanted a particular shape of pipe. THey were the first one where I saw one that I liked from a reputable pipe maker tat wouldn't set me back $150 to try out pipes.

One of the better e-tailers, they have a great reputation, one of the big 4 used by many folks at SF
