    Thuoc Lao!

Has anyone bought any of it yet? I got a toque order in the other day and in that order was Thuoc Lao 100g. It was what, 10 bucks? I figured why the hell not. Spent an hour or so seperating the leaf from stem.

(BTW, any good tips to use the stems for? I've kind just been chewing them)

about 1/2 was for snuffing, 1/4 for chewing and 1/4 for smoking. Even though I don't smoke I got a co-worker to roll me one with it in his little machine and it was very smooth but I had no craving what so ever for a good 3 hours afterwards. The chewing was the same way, very very bitter but earthy and very natural and delicious.

The snuffing... my dear god that is amazing Toque needs just a natural ground thuoc blend. Tasted a little salty but very potent. Ground the leaves with a Mortar and Pestle, as I was at work and we had one there. and threw it in an little itty bitty glass jar.

I've heard many a good things about this stuff. Although I don't smoke, I'd be tempted to put this in a bong (like they do in Vietnam).

If you put some fiberglass init, you will absorb the nicotine quicker.

Keep the discussion on this going.... I'm interested. Has anyone else tried it? Sounds VERY interesting.

I suspect you could shred it and roll it, or destem it, and mortar and pestal it into snuff. Or take the the snuff of it, before it becomes total poweder, add a little water, some salt and pepper and baking soda, and wrap it in a tea bag, or hand bake a prilla.

I ground up the stems too today, been using just the leaf. Regardless of their worth it's still a part of the leaf that I paid for and if they have nothing to them, then it'll be a little filler. I like toasts so grinding this up to the finest I could make it worked great. Can tell it's fire cured because you can just taste the smoke and slight burn.

I want to buy this. What is the best way so make snuff out of it? I don't have a mortar and pestle.

Blade style coffee grinder will render it to snuff within 10 seconds. Nice to sieve it some though. I use a old style cocaine grinder I just some how have lying around. Thouc Lao is ready to snuff once it has been ground/chopped, lovely snuff it is.
