Or simple curiosity. We're all eager to find out what we might be missing out on, especially when someone describes it in glowing terms.

      Yeah.

The only thing I'll probably never try that people talk about on this forum is dip...

I've thought about it though, but doubt I will haha.

I guess that would depend on the person, how well your receptors in your brain receives the nicotine. I started with Toque's Vanilla and at the time, it seemed to me it was the same as smoking a cig (faster hearty rate, ect). With that said....Toque does have some high nicotine content (SP Extra, Quit and the toasts).

The US version of snuff (Scotches) also have a lot of nicotine. You might want to check them out at some point down the road.

        Eric, check this...

What is snuffing like??......well at first, it's like Satan himself has jammed his fiery finger into your virgin nostril. Then...after time, it becomes more "refined" and enjoyable. It's like aroma therapy for me, with a nic hit!

With snuff as they say "one man's poison is another man's medicine". If only Wilson's had scents like Toque or Toque had a tobacco base like Wilson's... Well you know what I mean... I love the pure organic scent's that Toque has but the tobacco base of the Wilson's product is much better IMHO... But either way if done right it's a rush.

Due to the incredible generosity of one f. bandersnatch I'm now able to sample a dozen different snuffs and after about the same number of pinches I'm hooked big. It's a bit sneezy and sniffly but so what? The sensual pleasures and rewards, and the nic hits, are so far everything veteran snuffers have made them out to be. Between lös and snuff I may well be less inclined towards portions in the future.

Snuffing for me is the most euphoric (sp?) way of taking tobacco. It is similar to smoking where you get that instant nicotine rush, but it is what I call a "clean" rush, not a nasty smoking rush. The fun of snuffing is all the different flavors and grinds and the hobby of it all. For a while I was hooked on just menthol snuffs now I'm hitting the American Scotches, loving the nicotine hit. W.E. Garrett and Honey Bee are two of my favorites. Oh yeah, I love Checkerberry too!

I have slowed down on the snuff actually... I've been doing 1-2 pinches a week.. I'll probably pick it back up here soon... Maybe...

But I stated before that I would never try dip, and now the bad influences here have me wanting to try it. PEER PRESSURE!!!!

Well, since this thread has been revived, I'll add this observation: I've been noticing that I get a body rush from snuff. Cigarettes and (to a much lesser extent) pipes always felt like a strain on my body. But snuff makes me feel invigorated and movement becomes more pleasurable. I don't know if that's purely psychological, or whether there's a physiological reason for it, but I thought it was noteworthy.

I'll start with Dholakia White. This is absurdly fine. I can sniff a scotch or a toast all day without any complaints but this snuff is finer than dust....
