Eric, You can't go wrong with Toque. An excellent starter & veteran snuff alike. I would recommend the buy X get X 10gr assortment and you can just pick flavors that appeal to you. Trust me, whatever flavor you pick is what you get! Better than just grabbing 1 tin IMHO but that's up to you. Give snuff a fair chance before you determine you don't like it.

Yeah, get a 10 pack of the 10gs. Pick an assortment. For me, at least, snuff lasts forever, and 10 10g tins would last me forever. Toque is a quality brand. My fave Toques are Natural, Lime Toast, Whiskey & Honey, Menthol, .... eh.

Sorry. He just said "snuff" and I didn't make the distinction.

Good point, I mean if I judged snus on that malboro crap I wouldn't be enjoying what I am today. I think I'll probably do a toque order next week or two. It blows my mind how many flavors they have listed. I'm just picturing my wife's reaction. She's happy though I'm off the smokes. I may buy a tin for now from that club humidor. Just to give me an idea.

If you go for the 10g sampler, right around $20. And definitely stick with the 10g cans for starters. 25g is quite a bit of snuff.

Like others have said, wait on the toasts, except for maybe Whisky And Honey, which is fairly easy to do. I started with the florals(Rose, Violet, Lavender), Toffee, Coke, Vanilla, etc.

Toque is great stuff. Haven't found one yet that I just flat out didnt like.

That's probably the route I'll go.. I'm just looking for a treat every now and again.. The sampler will probably last me a long time... It's funny before I found snus and the forum all I though there was was smoking/dipping.. It's great that there all these alternatives

It has but the workaround is a bit easier. I'm still not worried about getting my snuff cheap.

and as far as price goes...about a dollar more for a 5 gram tin here in Taxachusetts than on the Northerner site.
