I don't think anyone has an idea. People who use nasal snuff exclusively sometimes use 10g a day but that's heavy use. For me when I used it a lot 5g lasted a two or three weeks.

Dont know about average. I find some snuffs go faster than others. Either way, it takes a long time for me to get through snuff. That's not a bad thing, I guess.

I'd guesstimate 5g per day is average for a full time snuffer, and as mentioned above 10g per day for a very heavy user. When I'm snuffing a lot, I use about 1g per day, but usually it's more like a few pinches. I snuff more in the winter than I do in the summer.

I probably use between 10 and 15g a week. And I'm pinching a couple of times an hour for the most part.

I probably average 2 grams a day. Some days more some less. My daily snuff use is spread out between 3 or 4 flavors so it's hard to track. I agree with what has been posted, an average snuff only user goes through 5-10 grams a day.

I'm a lightweight with the snuff I guess. I've a couple 5gr and 10gr tins that I've been working for over a month + a 1gr Spanish Gem which I did finish within days but still have ample snuff left in the tins... so lets see:

5+5+10+10+1 = 41grams

Estimate left = 20 grams

Net .................... 21 grams used in 30 days.

I also think I do more snuff in the winter months.

For me, it lasts forever. I've never emptied a tin, plus I alternate flavors, and some days I don't snuff. I have a tendency to get clogged if I use too much, so I find myself using just a small amount.
