anyone use nasal snuff here? i was thinking about trying some.

I tried some once when I was about 14. I have to emphasize once LoL. It burned like hell, and I had brown snot run out of my nose. I'm not sure what the appeal is tbh, though I have wanted to try it again just for the hell of it. One paper I saw listed the TSNA levels of different tobacco products. American dip was 4-7 ppm, down from 7-14 ppm
American chew was 2-4 ppm
Swedish snus was 2-4 ppm
American nasal snuff was 40-65 ppm :^O

Use that information as you see fit, but that stuff packs one hell of a cancerous punch.

Could be. The only brand I remember specifically is Scotch. They had one other one that they tested, but i don't remember what it was.

I'm sure I read that nasal snuff was actually lower in TSNAs than the maximum Gothiatek level for Snus. That was for the German Poschl snuff though. I did try it for a while but to me it just didn't seem natural shoving stuff up my nose and having a streaming black goo running from my nose. It made my sinuses and throat sore also. I could never have brought myseld to use it in public either through fear of being accused of snorting Cocaine or something

No pictures I think if I try it again, I'll just get one of the American brands. I see them every so often, and I doubt I'll use more than 1 or 2 pinches, so health concerns shouldn't be an issue.

If you're interested in trying here's a Snuff store I've used in the past http://www.snuffstore.co.uk/ The website's quite good, dispatch is within 24hrs and they stock all the Poschl snuffs which are I'm told good for beginners as they are quite moist and are less likely to go straight down the back of your throat.
