Same with me. Most of my snuff orders have either been Northerner, or Nicotine rush if I need a bullet too or such
I guess I'm trying snuff.

I haven't, but I imagine it's similar to most of the Americans. Bone dry, and ultra fine. If you aren't familiar with American snuff, be very careful taking it. It has a nasty tendency of going straight to your sinuses.Originally posted by RRKI picked up some Red Seal this morning at a tobacco store. Anybody try this stuff before?

How do you like it? Americans can be a bit of an acquired taste, but I really enjoy them. They smell "older" to me for some reason. I get more of a sense of history from the American snuffs.
I've pretty much decided to only buy the Conwood brands. They still use a paperboard tube, and tin top. It's not as good for keeping the snuff fresh, but I like the history.

Its kind of interesting. Kinda like sweet dust. Doesn't remind me much of tobacco. Gets good reviews around the web. It reminds me a lot of inhaling malt powder or powdered creamer.Originally posted by lxskllrHow do you like it? Americans can be a bit of an acquired taste, but I really enjoy them. Thanks for pointing out the free shipping Lxskllr.
Just so you guys know the minimum is $9.00, last 2 months it was set at the wrong price, but as most people order more, nobody noticed.

See what I mean, most people order more than the minimum; and sagedil single handily keeps my great grandmother in work.

Red Seal is very sweet in my opinion. I don't care much for the Amercan sweets. If you can find them the American Scotches have a much stronger tobacco taste. Brutons is my favorite, but there are a bunch to choose from.Originally posted by RRKIts kind of interesting. Kinda like sweet dust. Doesn't remind me much of tobacco. So do you guys blow your nose before using more snuff? I felt after 3,4 small doses my nose was just caked and couldn't really feel any more. My nose also seemed to dry out and blowing it did little for removing the snuff without sticking a tissue up my nose. Finally I used some saline to clean it out but I don't want to have to do that very often.

Also, I would actually consider replacing snus with snuff since I really am in it for the flavor and not so much the nicotine sustenance but at least with this Red Seal I find that I want it again after just half an hour to 45 minutes, where as I keep a snus 2 hours plus. Does the flavor last longer with other brands?
Snuff just seems cool to me for some reason like I'm living in a different time and a portion in my lip is more of a pain to deal with then some powder in my nose. It also seems like very very few people use it. The tobacco shops actually look at me crazier when I ask for nasal snuff then they do when I ask for snus. But thats mostly because they all have a camel snus display that they are desperately trying to sell.
