Nasal Snuff

kvlt, sounds like you may be using the wrong brand or technique. Some brands will cause me horrible runs, others not at all. The sneezing may be from to small a pinch.

OR you may be allergic to snuff.....

Yeah, I think I'll just give up on snuff. I only need one tobacco product anyway. (I have some matured cigars, but I never really cared for cigars, got into them based on the image years ago when I was 16)

Thanks to those colds, I had to use menthol cigarettes again :evil:.

I've just been pinching it, and literally sticking it up my nose, without sniffing it in. It's been working fine, as when I sniff it in, I get terrible congested and have nose drip, etc. Just pinch some and stick it in. If I didn't start doing it this way, I was considering just quiting.

Fixing to place my first order via Nicotine Rush. Should I use Mr. Snuff instead? I created accounts with both and the prices seem close. Does one have better shipping than the other?

They are both largely the same IMO, I usually use Mr Snuff, since he was the 1st store I used, and usually had no need to switch, but NicRush does have some items MrSnuff doesn't, might be some the other way around too. But generally speaking both have fast shipping, and both charge(too much) for shipping, $8 flat.

Np and glad that helped. Actually these days I mainly use the bullet(s) I carry - 1 plastic (toque) & 2 metal for transport. Occasionally I will still take a toot directly from em but have found a couple taps in the thumb webbing is giving me more overall control with the 'sniff' and helping me not forget when I'm ready to hit a toast by accident which can be a real situation when unknowingly doing from the bullet directly. ops: I can't even count the number of snus portions I've blown across the room or lost when doing this.

That one isn't menthol, just Cherry. Walk outside, for some reason that intensifys the flavor.

I went outside, and got well nothing. But I just blew my nose and judging by what came out I must have gotten plenty up there.

I bet I will enjoy menthol much more as I use vicks nasal spray and love the smell of vapor rubs, LOL.

I just put a little on the web of hand and sniffed. It burned a tad but nothing I can't deal with. I have a snus in and didn't shoot it out, thankfully. I didn't smell Cherry or menthol? Just felt a little burn. Maybe didn't take enough? IDK. I will try again in a little while.

Same experience when first starting snuff with me also. Took me a day or two (maybe for my nose to adjust to appreciate???) in order to start tasting the scents. At first the concentration I think was so high on trying to 'do it right' and feeling the burning sensation and whatnot that there just wasn't much energy or whatever left to feel the scents.

I'm betting you take this same snuff tomorrow or the next day, you will experience a much different sensation regarding catching the scent/taste.

I just took a pinch in each nostril and nothing but burn. I sneezed this time and had to immediately blow my nose. Then I did it again and caught a slight hint of cherry. I just think the Toque scents are too light, but since it is the only one I have had I have nothing to compare it to. I can smell the cherry on my fingers and it is strong, but not the case in my nose.

I will keep trying, as I am one persistent B**ch!

This afternoon I was in the car waiting for my daughter to get out of school and decided to have some Dholakia Swiss Chocolate...I hate that I got the flip top lid...I put some on my hand and sniffed and got that annoying ring around my nostrils.

In the car was my husbands fountain drink with a straw in it from yesterday so I took the straw and cut off about 1 inch of it. Put the snuff on my hand and used the straw to sniff thru..worked beautifully.

Just thought I would share.

Could be tricky if you sniffed too hard, but it worked great for me.
