is there a way to clean the noose for snuff?

and were should it sit? in front of the nice? or inside the the noose you know were its not possble to see the noose anymore

It should be in the top front of the nose. Some people clean their noses, but I don't. I just blow my nose in the shower, and that cleans it out pretty well.

You want the snuff where the dot is, but on the inside :^P

Snuff can temporarily affect smell, but as soon as you stop snuffing, your full sense of smell comes back(less than 1 day in my experience)

Hello. As a I am new to the world of smokeless tobacco, I would like to ask the snuff users how often they use snuff. I would like to prevent overdosing. The snuff I bought just to try this idea smells nice and sort of attracts me to use it, but I have no experience (25 years on cigarettes told me *nothing* about snuf or snus). I learned how to use snus partly from this Forum, so hopefully I will learn snuff, too.

I have been using snuff for only about a month. Snus is still my backbone, do it consistently all day long. Snuff, when I feel like it. Some days I hit it hard like 15 or 20 times, some days, maybe only 2 times in the day. Just depends on mood.

Other than the first day using, I have never felt like snuff was taking over. I love the feel the nicotine bump gives me, but I don't seem compelled to seek it out,. My usage is truly random

Snus meets my nicotine needs, snuff is like a nicotine desert.

I agree with Sagedil. Snus is my "utility" nicotine, whereas nasal snuff is my "kick back and relax" nicotine.
If you're asking about nose cleaning...
I am constantly washing bandanas/handkerchiefs. I'm one of those guys that blows out any snuff discharge within less than a minute of taking a sniff. I also use a neti pot periodically, it's a little nasal cleansing pot that you fill with non-iodized salt and warm water. It's really intense at first, but it feels good to get any snuff buildup out. 8)

Thank you. So it seems I could use snuff just as I used to smoke, one per hour or maybe or so. It also seems that it can be combined with snus, which I was a bit afraid to try. I thought it was either/or and tried snuff only at times when not using snus. Thank you, I wil now go on and experiment with pleasure

I have just tried all the 4 flavers and they does taste of the samething everyone. meaby the cherry is a little bit sweeter and the expresso is a bit burned pibe tobacco.

i like the expresso but the others is not something for me becouse they all taste for the same thing..

Well I had no idea what to buy so just as a whim when buying snus I added Wilsons Camphor&Mild. I was lucky: it has extremely nice, strong smell and even seems to clear my airways like one of those peppermint candies advertised against blocked sinuses

I use Ocean occasionally, when I want to make sure my nose is completely cleaned out. But normally, every morning in the shower with the steam, my nose gets pretty clean. I also will blow the stuff out frequently. Not right away, but often throughout the day..

And frankie, if you are new to snuff, you must try the Touque snuff. Rodrick posts here occasionally, and is on snuffhouse.org all the time. I have tried a bunch and love the Whiskey-Honey, Champagne, Blueberry, Raspberry. I *think* I will like the Bourbon, but I am still on the fence on that. Espresso was good, and so far, the Toffee has been a disappointment, tough so many say they love it.

But Touque is a great snuff for relative newbies. hard to over do it, and the tastes just rock!!!!

Be careful with mentholated snuff. many folks find it leads to stuffy noses, kind of like a snapback reaction.


Snuff goes perfect with snus. The snus maintains my nicotine levels, so I never NEeD the snuff. just like it for that extra boost and all over good body feel it gives. If I didn't have snus, I am sure I would hate feeling chained to the snuff, and my nicotine levels would spike up and down much as they did with cigarettes. I never want to go back there again. But with snus as a base, snuff is just wonderful!!

Seems I have more luck than wits, because I just ordered Espresso, Honey & Whisky Bullet, Vanilla 10g Tin, Blueberry Menthol 10g 8)

One thing was nagging at me when I did that though: If I do not use the snuff in a relatively short time, won´t it lose the flavour and/or strenght? I liked the first one, wanted some others for variety, but I don´t know if I should open more or just wait until the first can is used.

(And yes, I read about bullets. But torque has free shipping over some limit and the bullet fit there exactly, so I decided to give it a try anyway. Some people only learn from their own mistakes... Or maybe not ops: )

this stuff starting to grow on my very much!
i just love it.
I start taste how they smell and my fav. is expresso! damn i love it. and also vanilla is ok but i only taste a little hint of vanlilla :/
i do not even want to snus/dip any more ^^
