    Snuff Newb Seeking Advice...

So, as title says im a neewbie with nasal snuff..
I got some Samuel Gawith and Toque´s products and theres a problem that i can´t seem to get rid off..

This stuff burns like MOFO! And few seconds after taking a shot with my bullet my eyes start watering and my nose starts running and its just a mess, i end up wiping my eyes and nose and sneezing and shit..

What i mean is: is there something wrong with how / how much i take or technique whatsoever?
How do you take your snuff? Do you get same reactions or is this just me doing something awfully wrong here?

Little help to get this thing going painlessly would be really appericiated!

    Hi Niko

You need to sniff not inhale, just a small light sniff and have the snuff towards the front of your nose, there are nice and great informative threads on how to snuff posted at the nasal forum, check it out

Well, thats what i have been doing in my own opinnion atleast lol
No matter how gently i sniff i get same reactions.. Have been thinking should i change the bullet to pinching or taking it from back of my hand, if that would make any differense .. Dont know really.

Snuff will do this, it still does it to me, and I've been doing it for years now. My advice is work on the amount, how hard you sniff, and how often. I don't like the bullet because it's hard to do the above. While sitting at my desk, I like to use a small spoon, and I can put just a small amount on the end, and sniff it in. If it's not too much, or I don't do it again too soon after, I'm ok. Also, some snuffs affect my nose more than others. Toque seems to affect my nose a bit, the Indian snuffs less. It's all about trial and error and eperience, but I am sure, I think, that even long time snuffers get the sneezing fit and running nose at times.

im definatelly going to try the spoon method, sounded nice indeed, but is there any other way than the bullet to take my snuff in windy / non-indoor places?

What he said. Pinching is by far the best method for control.
