Dry snuff dipping - spit or swallow?

I have an 8 oz tumbler full of Red Seal and a little package of WE Garrett that just arrived. I did a little bump of each and I like both. Nice little kick.

I wanted to try dipping some, and I just popped about a 1/2 teaspoon in my lower lip. I don't dip moist dip very often, but when I ususally just swallow most of the spit the now. What do the old timers that dip dry snuff down south do?

I don't swallow the juice when dipping American Snuffs (dry snuff= Red Seal or moist = Cope or Skoal) that would be to strong for my Tummy.
I do swallow Snus Juice no problem.
It would be up to You but I would not swallow. But I do swallow the small amounts of snuff that sometimes go into my throat from sniffing snuff American or European or Indian or what have you.

Don't miss out on trying dry snuff as a Dip, just have something to spit in. It is good sprinkled on Moist snuff also.

Dry snus sprinkled on snus sucks though. I tried it.

I don't spit except for the first spit.

I don't spit when I dip moist dip either. Never had.

I don't dip much anymore.

i don't think any type of tobacco juice is great for the stomach....especially from strong dry tobacco

snus juice is ok... but sometimes I spit some out

That's your call. I know people who dip two cans of Copenhagen in their lower lip every day and never spit. I'm sure you could get acclimated to swallowing dry snuff, although the health risks are unknown. I would rather snus and not have to worry.

I had a total of three dips this afternoon when I would have normally had snus. I swallowed the spit but didn't swallow all that much of the snuff. I just pulled/rinsed it out when I was done with it. I was happy with the experience and will likely dip nasal snuff again. The nicotine seemed to be decent, the flavor was good, and it was very comfortable with no burning on my lip or throat.

I can get most American dry snuffs locally.

MrSnuff carries them but ships from overseas.

I have never ordered them from him though. Here in florida it is common to see at the local supermarkets and tobacco stores.

Mrsnuff is a good retailer though...I order all my nasal snuff from him except for Toque. That I get directly from Roderick in bulk.

Try dipping dholakia white. That stuff is near impossible to snuff into a dry nose, so I tried dipping it one day. Start with a small amount at first though, as it will literally knock you on your ass.
