    Samples?

How do you go about that? Do you ask for them? Is there a proper way in which to ask? It's a great idea for those of us who have so far had to wait over 18 days for our first snuff order and the local snuff supply is gone. I would love to able to order copious amounts of snuff with confidence since my supply lines are unpredictable, and as G.I. Joe said in the cartoons,"Knowing is half the battle!".

    any suggestions or protocols?

As far as snuff goes, I suggest just asking...never hurt to ask. As far as snus, I do know Swedish Match has a try-out sample pack of various General portions.

I've asked about 4 Indian snuff suppliers for a sample, none of them even replied. I've also asked Poschl for their "Chema" chewing tobacco, and they said that because it isn't sold in the UK they won't send it to me, although I've read in snuffhouse that they are good about sending out samples, and so is Dholakia (didn't even get a reply from them).

Never heard of any webshop that gives away free samples... I think they used to do it as a promotion of certain snuff, But seemed to have been on rare occasions when they wanted to do a promotion.... Maybe someone else may have more info, But as far as i know no nobody gives away free samples of snus or snuff anymore since pact...

I think the giving away of samples to consumers is part of the FDA's anti-swag/Snus bling act more so than PACT.

To my knowledge the only people allowed samples are certain websites/writers that do it for "consumer review", but not 100% on the legal wording of that

SM does have sample packs but I think you have to purchase them now or be in a place the Original Pursuit campaign is rolling through.

Actually, it is right the opposite..............the wording on Pact is that samples can be sent but there is a restriction on the amount, how they are sent, declared, and they must be free.

I do not know if the FDA restrictions would apply to these samples but I would think they might determine a supplier's eagerness to send a product to a market that can't buy it. Also, the whole pact thing has just made everyone a bit skittish

It might be best to PM or whisper a maker from a forum or blog where they are active......... once you yourself are establish there.............so they know it's not a sting.

Also, consider that India has a completely different concept of time..............you might find a few samples in your box tomorrow..................... or in three months.................... or never.........all without ever receiving a single email.
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

As far as I know it's illegal in Europe.

We used to send two samples to the USA but, only when asked and when the person asking confirmed they were over 21. We always declared the contents as samples to US customs, but now they don't seem to ever reach their destination.
