Have resisted trying it all this time but now happy I have.Originally posted by EricHill78 View PostGood order, I forgot about cheese and bacon. I ordered that too as a joke but actually love that one too. You're well on your way.

I haven't been able to verify this but I believe this might be from snuff overuse...Originally posted by CoderGuy View PostSo now that I have started using snuff and enjoying it, the obvious question / concern comes to mind;
What are the TSNAs in snuff and what are the risks of nose / sinus cancer? Has there already been a thread on this?

Of course, YMMV!!
Isn't that snuff in his right nostril??

The TSNAs are generally very low for european snuff and moderate to cherenobyl levels for american snuff. The american stuff is mostly dipped and causes a significant risk of oral cancer about a four times increased risk after heavy prolonged use(which is like 1 in 1000 or something). It's not shown to cause nasal cancer, Wilson of sharrow has a saying we've never had a health claim made against our company in hundreds of years. I think part of the low risk is that you consume so little tobacco I mean a pound a year is pretty heavy use and you use a pound of snus after 10 cans of losOriginally posted by CoderGuy View PostSo now that I have started using snuff and enjoying it, the obvious question / concern comes to mind;

That's what I've read... No health claims against snuff.. I figure it's just as safe as snus if not safer.

That's what I was talking about. People in the U.S. put nasal snuff in their mouth, mostly older people. The tsna levels in american dip and chew are lower than american nasal snuff, probably because it's fermented and fire-cured, the original test they used a tin that was very old so it skewed the results on a retest it was normal 60-80 instead of 1142 or something the brands were brutton and redseal. even that ammount is really small it's like 1ng.Originally posted by CoderGuy View PostThanks, I guess I should clarify... nasal snuff

Well got my Toque order. Man what a difference between Toque and the Cherry Ozona and especially the Dean Swift (which I find very weak). I took my first Toque in the same amount I have been taking the Dean Swift and immediately my eyes started watering lol
I tried about 6 of the flavors and the Whiskey & Honey, Spanish Gem, and Champagne so far are my favorites (of the 6 I tried which included the Cheese & Bacon, Chocolate, Lime Toast)
I also got a few bullets. I like the concept but it seems like it's so packed it isn't dispensing correctly yet. Between the 11 25g tins and the 3 mini bullets it would seem I have about 2 year's worth here lol

Just a follow-up to the post from yesterday.
Found a thread on another forum that gave tips for getting the bullet working and it works great. I just pulled the rotating piece out, stuck my little snuff scoop down into the hole and carefully broke up the packed snuff and replaced the rotating piece. Now it works like a charm (actually went right to the brain the first time I sniffed it lol)

I'm glad you're enjoying your order! I agree the Spanish Gem and whisky honey are awesome.. I haven't tried the champagne yet.. After a while once you get comfortable I suggest placing an order with Mr Snuff. Top notch service and great products. Toque is awesome, but it's neat to try other brands. Tripped me out on the canisters of F&T I got it says they've been around since like 1720. Snuff does last a long time I haven't finished a tin yet. The only thing is once you start you'll want to try all the flavors/brands. Well that's my case. I'm on a mission to my find my crown jewel snuffs that will be my favorite go to's. I think I've found it in F&T HDT, Mchcrystal's o&g, Fubar Grunt, dahlokia white, Spanish gem. Once I get my favorites down I'll order them in bulk I'll be set for years.

I have seen a lot of great comments about the F&T and McChrystals so I will probably at least try those.Originally posted by EricHill78 View PostI'm glad you're enjoying your order! So every time I use snuff, for a couple days afterward I feel like I am getting a cold (you know how the sinuses feel when you get a cold) and also spend a couple days sneezing. I like it but don't like the after effects. I am sniffing and they are small portions, not snorting, don't even feel it when I do it, but the next day whamo, feel like I am on the verge of a cold. If I stop for a couple days it goes away and everything is normal.
Anyone else have this happen? Do I need to donate my stash to someone?

by ChewbaccaNot sure what’s happened with nasal snuff in the UK. I used to like the Kendal brand with the scents “sandalwood” and “eucalyptus”.
