I'm surprised that no one else has started a thread for this snuff. I know it has fans on this board. But never mind, I'll jump in and be the first.

How to describe Grand Cairo? Well, you could call it an SP. It certainly begins with a big burst of bergamot followed by lavender. But there's much more. "Enhanced SP" sounds a little too elitist... I guess "alternative SP" will have to do. Beyond the traditional ingredients, there's a definite fragrance of something evergreen -- pine or juniper have been suggested. I'll go with the former, as it doesn't smell like juniper to me. The most interesting part is how a warm, slightly sweet spice note creeps in and dominates the finish. Cardamom? That's the general consensus, but I don't really know that spice well enough to say. But it's a very interesting and exotic combination of scents that invites multiple pinches.

Color is a dark reddish-brown, and the grind seems to be quite fine, with moderate moisture. Nicotine seems just slightly above average. The bergamot, although just as strong, is not quite as sharp to the nose as that used in Toque Original, which makes GC preferable to me. I'm definitely well on my way to becoming a WoS fan -- this is yet another snuff going on my "must re-order" list.

It's one of the best snuff's I've ever had, use it on a daily bases.

Had a fresh 25g tin of Grand Cairo arrive yesterday from Mr. Snuff... Thank goodness I was down to my last pinch... The smell and texture of fresh snuff is just incredible.

Grand Cairo is a great snuff. I think it may be my favorite of the SP style. Running low on it now and I have so much other snuff I may have to deprive myself for quite awhile, although I will probably just go ahead and order some more of this and Tom Buck which is also great.

After going through SP after SP when I first started snuff, I was burned out. GC gave me another refreshing angle on the SP genre. Not my favorite, but still a keeper.

Sounds like it smells like a headshop.

Earl Grey tea served in a little cafe smack dab in the middle of the Cairo bazaar.

I have spent the day with this snuff....and I kinda don't like it.....

                    Heresy!

                    Traitor!

Yeah.....it is really a good snuff and I appreciate what it is doing....I really do......but I do not like bergamot in my snuff...

And I don't like the Wilson's tobacco base they use in their SP snuffs.

There is nothing wrong with it....just not my cup of tea.

                    I like coffee anyway...

I like this snuff a lot. Very Old Spice-like. It's citrusy and refreshing. Also a very fine grind so the nicotine hit is decent.

Very fresh - better than Toque SP Extra. The citrus is just right. Will re-buy this.

Ive lived with this for a while now so it's safe to comment that this snuff for me is 'the one' . Why?
Its not too fine and not coarse. Its extremely easy to take....you wouldnt believe how much I just got up my nose. Nothing down the throat, just in the nose. Its citrusy fresh with a good dose of nicotine. An all dayer for sure. Refreshing and satisfying ten out of ten.

I'm making a list and this is on it. Reviews are mainly why I keep coming back to Snuson.

I've also just added this to my shopping cart. I'm looking for a favourite SP. At the moment Samuel Gawith SP Scotch is winning but I have many more to try.
