What tobacco is used to make Makla?

I have only used the Neffra Ifrika (the dry nasal snuff). I keep a few tins stashed (one in the car, one at work) in case of emergency.

On the tape holding the tin shut it says something like "tobacco 74%....."and then lists other things. I forget, and, it has a warning as well. If it wasn't bone dry and didn't come in that cool plastic tin, I wouldn't have it.....and as soon as I run out of emergency stashes in those tins they will be repurposed as emergency toast snuff stashes.

I haven't tried the moist Makla, and the "tastes like iron" comments and actual statement in the description isn't really making me curious.

I would go full snuff if I couldn't get snus....or help fund birdman's move.....and throw in the twists and chews sparingly. Especially ones that weren't too sweet.

sounds about right................I would go with voodooman's recipe for starters

My rustica seeds are just about up and peeping their heads out - not so for the other variety I got unfortunately. Are you growing it, Ansel?

Hi, no unfortunately i didn't get my act together to grow any tobacco this year but i'm looking forward to hearing how yours do.
