Copenhagen Black long cut. I examined the labeling carefully. There is no mention of bourbon or any other particular flavoring on the new can. I guess it is a mystery. This was bought off a prominent Wal-Mart display with a Copenhagen Black poster board proclaiming "New Copenhagen Black Coming Soon". The sell by date on the can is Dec 13, 2010, so it is definitely new stock.

I still haven't found a decent picture of the new can. Any help would be appreciated.

I though I'd share this with the people in U.S

There's dip for as low as $8.99 for a roll.

"Having a Copenhagen Wintergreen tonight ;-)

Copenhagen Straight long cut. This is probably the best snuff I have ever tasted. It has a perfect hint of sweetness and a good, smoky tobacco flavor.

Copenhagen Black long cut. I just got it at Wal-Mart for $3.27. I also picked up a can of Copenhagen Straight long cut for $2.07. I'm not sure about the price difference, but whatever. I also asked about 1847, but they didn't have it.

These are my first Copenhagens. The Black has an interesting flavor, but I can't decide what it is. It doesn't remind me of bourbon in the slightest. My only two guesses are tea or grass (or both).

    It didn't with me either....

Very mild flavor, but pretty good. Not as good as Red Man's though.

Skoal Wintergreen long cut. I have almost always put this type of snuff in my lower left side, but this time, I forced myself to put it in the right side. No problem. I don't know why I always tend to put it on the left.
I get that with dip too (lower left side)

and always forget to try the right side.....

    Try it upper lip.
I would usually start dip in the lower left, and then after a while, I'd move to the right.

    Copenhagen Snuff.

I was reading the cope black thread and stopped at the gas station on the walk to the park with the kids. No dice but I was really craving some dip all day and got a tin. It is just as tasty as I remember (like an eraser on a cheap pencil dipped in ammonia and set on fire in my mouth) but I am on my third pinch from this tin. It has been over a year since I dipped and I distinctly remember why I stopped. It is gross and tastes like crap. I almost got some Skoal Original but that might have gone past just one tin (as wintergreen is the best flavor of dip imo). Also, it has given me the massive poopies which is nice. I haven't dropped a duce like this in quite some time. Better than a colonic...so they say.

I'm still finishing the can though.
