Pretty much... Chewing tobacco is also spit tobacco, and is probably what you see in the movies, and many times in baseball. That's a fairly wet leaf tobacco which is quite sweet. You place that in the side of your cheek, and it produces huge quantities of juice(saliva). You don't really chew it per se, but compress it every so often to get more flavor.

Maybe someone legitimately created a bot who's only purpose is to define the various types of tobacco? I'm guessing this is part of some larger plan to take over the earth or something. Or maybe Skynet is looking to quit smoking or something?

I don't think so. The expression "spit-tobacco" is typical slang of anti-tobacco-professionals. Shuling is either such a professional or somebody, who has been brainwashed by their propaganda.

In case of the latter there is still hope. I also believed for a long time, that smokeless tobacco causes mouth cancer. The cigarette manufacturers and pharma corporations have enough money and influence to let even reputable journalists, medics or politicians propagate complete nonsense.
