There used to be, but it was taken off the market. It was well regarded here, and I think it sold decent in Norway, but I guess it didn't sell well enough. I thought it tasted like an Onyx lös. Pretty tasty.

Lös is a hard sell outside of Scandinavia. If it doesn't sell well in Sweden (which from what I understand N&J L didn't), you can pretty much guarantee it will die soon. I thought it was pretty good stuff, personally, and it sold pretty well here, but I hear that not many people over there bother with the N&J line.

Quick trivia bit: rumor has it that Claq Qui was originally supposed to be a Nick and Johnny brand, but at the last minute it was added to the Roda Lacket line up. I wonder if things would have fared a bit different for the N&J Loose, East and West if they had a good selling brand like Claq Qui?

Where did you hear that about Claq. I was saying the other day that it tasted like N&J with roda juice on it.

It is correct that there used to be a N&J lös. Approx 35% of the snus that is sold in Scandinavia is lös meanwhile approx 25% of the snus that is sold outside of Scandinavia is lös.

There is no truth to Claq Qui ever being intended for N&J.
