They held it for about 10 days, all you'll see on the tracking is "held in warehouse". They opened 6 tins.

All ended well, customs released my order and SnusExpress sent me another order, both arrived at my house the same day. Two orders for the price of one! Did have to throw out some of the order that was held, tins had been opened.

rkh3, what date did your order actually arrive? I'm curious because I placed an order recently, and it's being held up in customs by UPS as well; been a week now with no reschedule delivery date at this time. Also, how many of your tins were opened when they arrived? I'm starting to get a little nervous about what kind of shape my shipment will be in when it gets here.

Well, package is still held by FDA/customs. SunsExpress is sending me another order, no charge.

Update, of sorts. My order is still in Customs hands. Snusexpress has been good but there is nothing they can do with it. They will ship another order to me early next week if this one is not released.

This has happened to a few people. Basically means customs is taking a closer look at it. Depending on the situation, you may have to pay customs duties on this particular shipment, or you might get away without paying anything.

This shipment is being held because the imported goods must be released by the Food and Drug Administration before clearance by United States Customs. In most cases, the shipment is delayed one day. However, if any additional information is required to obtain clearance of the shipment, we will contact the consignee.

Information on Food and Drug Administration regulations is available for customers via the Food and Drug Administration web site at the following address:

https://www.access.fda.gov/


During this process, UPS works with the government of the importing country to quickly provide any information necessary to assist in clearing the package. While the package is in the clearance process, and until it is released, any delay is beyond UPS's control. Once a package has been released, we are then able to resume the transit to the destination.

Just checked tracking, still "held in warehouse". I emailed UPS, no answer yet.

To the best of my knowledge, the Taxachusetts legislative ban
on tobacco products is still in effect.

Anyone have an update on this??

Yeah IDK. just saying.. I would be like alright Its in Philly maybe Ill have it tomorow, but then tracking would say "held for customs." Then It would have a departure scan for Louiville. Etc.

Any idea what held in warehouse means?

I think its probably held up in customs, sometimes theyll send it to louiville, ky to be checked by costums, and by the next morning its in south jersey.
