Might be ok for snus, but 30 deg. less than ambient room temp aint that great for beverages.
My mini fridge is noisy when it runs. At least this one doesn't have a compressor.

If I'm at my home in New Jersey (like right now) I'll just stick my tins outside the window but still inside the screen. Keeps them nice and cool without taking up fridge space that technically isn't mine. Works
Works if it's cold out at least haha.

Love it!
I did that in Chicago at a hotel. I had left overs from a fancy restaurant and put them on the ledge outside my room. Froze solid!
I'm gonna do this at home now. Great method.

Here in wyoming id be afraid to leave mine between the screen and the window id have little snus-sickles Jk actually that sounds like a brillant idea and works until summer at least, but that buys time to find a good mini-fridge that fits your requirements

A constant and consistent temperature may be more important than a cooling temperature. It really depends on how long you are going to be storing snus. Long term=freezer, mid term=refrigerator, but your in use snus can be stored in an insulated box such as a small cooler that will moderate any room temperature changes. A heavy clay jar or stone pot would be classy. You could also dig a little snus cave using the mass of the earth to moderate temperature fluctuations. I recomend at least six feet under with at least three feet of cement. Be sure the door has enough mass also.

Overall, snus tastes better cool/cold, but there are a few brands that I actually like better when they are at room temperature. I seem to be able to taste them better when they are warm, if that makes any sense...
When I first started out, I was pretty religious with keeping tins in the fridge...but I got lazy really quick.

Due to the way snus is made refrigeration is necessary to keep it fresh. The cooler the better. Warming as well as extreme temperature fluctuations will cause premature expiration and yes there are expiration dates on the tins. An open tin will dry out after about a week or so. Having too many flavors open at once can be a problem. I have yet to come across anything that I wouldn't put in my mouth but I could see one not knowing these things ending up with some pretty stale snus. Stale or not I would suck it for the nic anyway. But that's me.
