UPS just delivered my package the other day, I signed for it no ID required. I would just wait until it comes to your door.

The guy down at the UPS store was a complete asshole about it. I explained how stupid it I cant simply get it. I am the right age to buy tobacco, I paid for the frickin shipping, and drove my ass all the way down there. I dont see what the problem is. Here is how the convo went. I showed him my ID, he said "You gotta me 21. Youre only 19. Think I cant read?" I explained that I talked with a person on the phone, and she said i only had to be 18, after explaining to her my view, he said "Well, I dont care, find someone 21." I said kind of with a temper, cause he wasnt being nice at all, "Okay Mister! So here is what I am gonna do! Im gonna hike my ****in ass down to the damn hospital, get my mom, where she is staying with my dad cause hes got a damn temp of 105 degrees while fighting a very bad strain of lymes disease, bring her here so she can sign for a package that is legal for me to get and has never been an issue till I am now forced to use UPS. Okay!?" He replied very cocky, "I dont see a problem with that. See ya soon" Then literally tossed my package on the ground in the corner and walked back into the warehouse.

But, I got it! New Nick and Johnny White portion is pretty legit.

I woulda told the person behind the counter that you'd pay them $50 to sign it for you, then slapped them in the face.

HAHAHAHA! God, I should have. I should have just taken it off the counter when it was just sitting there. Its not against the law. I paid for it, and paid for shipping. Its just breaking their own policy. What would they have done? Lol.

My wife didn't hear the UPS driver yesterday, we caught her today but it meant my Grov had to spend another day in the back of that step van in the 90 plus degree heat. This signature stuff if lame-o but they seem pretty gung ho about compliance. Heck, I've had the USPS guy leave a case of ammo by my door which has to by law have a signature.

I have never signed for ammo.

                    That sucks man.

Well look at it this way, you probably won't have to get any more snus until you're over 21 being it that you have over 200 cans.

Oh man, this will be an issue for me too, being 19 as well. However, if all goes well I shouldn't need to order again until I'm back at school and in a campus apartment, where I will be surrounded by plenty of 21 year olds.

Lol. My UPS driver kindly signed for my package himself and left it all cozy on my porch awaiting my return from work today. I ain't shitten man.

might be a bit of an issue for me as well since i'm 19, but there are people over 21 here, so it might not be too big of a deal. Really stupid policy.

Wow, I feel for all of you 18-20 year olds. Does anyone know of any reason why UPS is going for 21 instead of the legal age to purchase tobacco?

I'm going to guess that some states have different age limits so UPS took the easy route and made it 21 so it was standarized and their ass is covered in all 50 states.

Funnily enough, it's the same with General's website (not that anyone would put their true birth date anyway).

What's irritating is that the only place near me that sells General is a liquor store, which I can't go in, and I don't even know if they sell cans, it might just be sample packs.

                                Stupid Dakotas....

EDIT: Never mind, I just found a cigar shop that I CAN enter that sells General. I may have to go check it out. My day just got better.
