taxes on snus delivery

I'm a little embarrased right now but I'll just bite the bullet and give you an update. Taxes are calculated mostly on wholesale/manufacturer price. We buy our snus mostly in SEK. So, the taxes were based on SEK when it should have been converted to USD. Which means you can divide the taxes by something like 7.7 in the examples given in this thread (for most states atleast). Again, my face is red and I'm chewing off a big chunk of our programmer's asses as we speak.

I just put in a mock order for Florida and came up with the following quite reasonable totals, considering earlier example for florida.

OK Just did a WA mock order for a roll of Ettan White Portion and while high, it's right in line with my previous calculations (this message and Roo's response after it), except in these calculations they were charging by the ounch and now it's 75%:

It basically comes out to $5.30 per can total. Cheaper than buying locally, more than it was before, not enough to quit but maybe enough to cut down usage a little.

Yes, WA is one of the highest taxed states I'm afraid:-(

Swap it out for some Thunder and it'll save you $13 USD on the totals.

Alabama rocks;-) Among a few other states! From a very snusing standpoint of course. And add another 30 cans to that order and you'll notice shipping only increases by a few cents which of course helps getting the avg cost per can down a whole lot. Some states and some brands will on quantity orders get cheaper snus than before actually.

Skruf is available on a first come, fist served basis. We do have some left in the US warehouse which we have until the end of June to sell (along with some other brands). So if it shows up on GetSnus or in the US site view on Northerner.com then we have some left. If you order like 200 cans I can't guarantee we can deliver it all though;-)

PA will be the same price as before, minus a permanent disount we set for all US customers but plus PA sales tax (6%). So you should be good my friend. Or better than most atleast.
