@ hectomaner... You have a good nose! The in can aroma is pretty much exactly as you describe it. The taste... to me, is nothing like the smell. They're both pretty light, just the vaguest hint of flavor... that I still have trouble identifying, (I must be getting old). The #774 is the stronger... has more of a burn for the first few moments. That's the 6 pack that I requested after completing the survey. Good stuff. I 've had a lot of snus far worse than these two. Hope it makes it to market.

i'm not a fan of these purified mini or w/e they are, so i have no idea who makes some looking like them. i do know that the cases are identical to wise, only black.

I've had both for a couple of days now. I, too, rather like them. But hardcores beware: These are far from what you're used to. And they are by far the smallest portion pouches I've ever seen.

Each pouch is about the size of a Chiclet.

The black container speaks to a Wise/Oomph product, with bright white pouches inside. They do not smell good; taste a lot better than they smell. The tastes remind me a bit of Northerner's Energy snus -- which I consumed but didn't care for and never reordered.

I also discovered that these tiny pouches will work well to replace the polyfill cores used in electronic cigarette cartridges. Soak a pouch in vegetable glycerine, fold and insert it into the cartridge and vape away! I disliked the vapor taste, so I soaked a pouch in Bickford Kahlua flavor. Now .. that's fine tasting! And it will give the FDA fits, since this e-cig is no longer a "drug delivery" product using an unapproved source of nicotine.

I won't do the survey until I've used each about a week.

Frankly, I like Discreet better .. but I love this extremely small pouch. If Discreet were made a bit smaller, more than 1-million e-smokers are a potential market.

I just got these today and they are pretty good. I don't normally use portions, but I like these.

They both seem to be different versions of a lemon- menthol/eucalyptus flavor, but more of a sweet lemon. The 774 seems much more minty than the 887, but they do the job.

The 774 is very mint/menthol foward with a light hint of lemony sweetness. I can't figure if it is sugary or more of a very light trace of honey. The menthol is killing it.

The 877 reminds me a lot of a lemonhead candy with a flowery menthol/eucalyptus note. I do get the smell in my nose, which is almost flowery, which makes it my less favorite of the two. Flowery.

I've only had one of each so far and these are just initial impressions. I"ll edit as I get further along in the tasting if I change my mind.

I received mine today......looks like re-engineered Wise to me. :?

I kind of like the way 887 tasted; it does have a sort of lemon drop vibe to it, along with a hint of menthol, I would guess.

774 is not my thing at all. It tastes like I jammed an Icy-Hot patch in my mouth. :x I was more accepting when I answered the survey, but I think I just didn't give myself enough truly test it. I would give it a D- at best.

I would have greatly preferred these in a regular portion.....hell, even whites. I have never liked dry portions.

My roommate did the survey, so we have 6 tins of 774, and two 887s in our freezer right now. Neither of us particularly like them. He uses Onyx exclusively, and I prefer my snus to taste like tobacco. That being said, I actually don't mind the minty flavor, the pouches are extremely discreet and soft, and despite not having as much nic as I'm used to, the delivery seems to be very aggresive.

Probably wouldn't ever buy this stuff, but the tins in the freezer won't go to waste.
