I haven't really found any that clash. I also haven't found any that are particularly good. Maybe it's just me, but I don't get the same synergy from scent-flavor, as I do flavor-flavor.

Grov and General are the ones for beer, IMHO. Something like rape #2, mini mint, skruf cranberry, thunder frosted, etc + beer = bleah!

With an IPA, I find I'm liking Onyx... the stronger flavors seem to go together well.

There's this pub in Vermont that makes a sour raspberry beer-stuff that would probably go wonderfully with skruf cran and rape #2. Vermont Pub & Brewery. Cool place if you happen to be in the area for something (ie., skiing/snowboarding, or foliage).

Right in downtown Burlington, about a block from Church St.

Those people there make the most kickass beers I've had.

sounds damn good. you could make that alcoholic with a bit of rum or scotch.

I noticed at least one other thread like this today. Kind of feel like a dolt for not checking out the landscape first.

I don't have a whole lot of experience with snus but for cigars my favorites are almost any red wine, Italian liqueur, and iced tea.

I agree red wine does go very well with a quality cigar!
