Offroad long cut wintergreen is awesome!

So I just got a couple cans of this in my new order and wow. Putting a pinch in (lower lip) is just like dipping! Even though I've been snusing for little while, I still get a crave every once and a while and this settles it. The best part is it doesn't even have that ammonia background flavor.

and how does spitting compare with american dip?
or can the juice be swallowed same way as any other snus?

I love it as well; there does not seem to be very many other fans of it here, though. It really is the only thing that gives me any kind of nicotine bitch slap anymore. Great for those out of nowhere cigarette cravings.

artsnus: Yes, the juice can be swallowed just like any of the other varieties of snus. I do tend to spit when I use it, mostly because saliva builds up quicker since I lower lip it, and I really prefer not to swallow ALL of the juice...

As a former dipper that turned to snus about a year ago, I really thought I would like this. Turns out I was wrong. I didn't like the way it didn't hold its form like Skoal, and the flavor died in like ten minutes. Plus it has that certain taste that lets you know this is a V2 product.

I would LOVE if General had a version of this type, cause I would probably love that.

I'm always amazed by the differences in taste between members here. Some love a thing, while others hate it.

I am that way with Ettan los. There are a few here that swear by the stuff, and I do not care for it. Didn't seem to have any flavor. Although, when I tried it, I had only been off of dip for about a month, so maybe I'll give it another shot.

I just got a 5 can roll in the mail from getsnus. I'm really disappointed. No Wintergreen aroma or flavor at all. It taste's exactly like the plain long cut.
I'm jonesin' for some wintergreen. Guess I'll go out and get a can of Grizzly FC Wintergreen. :cry: :cry: :cry:

Perique, you just confirmed that I did not send a crazy complaint to GetSnus.
I received 3 cans of the longcut wg and it was straight ammonia with absolutely no wintergreen taste. I wrote them explaining the situation and they promptly replaced the order with another batch of ammonia longcut.
This is not a fresh smell which I have encountered before but something very different.
For the heck of it I placed a order from buysnus and the product was wintergreen good.

Sounds like they mis-labeled them at the factory or something. I haven't tried the Offroad longcut, but the regular los is very wintergreeny and not bad at all.

Thanks truthwolf1, I've already complained to get snus. I don't know when my snus was made but the best before date is 07-29-2009

Strange situation. I've never had a bad batch of Longcut; I like the wintergreen better, but even the original doesn't taste like you described. But then, my taste buds have always been a little strange when it comes to snus...

I think dippers would like the Klondike Fine Cut, and Long Cut offers. Their cut is just like dip. Flavors arn't bad either. I'm just not a dipper, don't bottom lip, and prefer a traditional snus loose cut.
