Mostly no. There were a few smaller companies shipping these to the US, but that option now seems to be gone too.

Chad, you should delete your post above. The info's well-intentioned but it's best to PM anyone asking about cuban snus. The reason is that cuban snus is illegal in the USA. Some suppliers 'may' ship it out at risk to themselves and their customers in America, but this info IMO shouldn't be posted on a public forum if this type of snus delivery is going to remain viable in the future.

I think someone PM'd you when you asked, and now you know why it was a private message.

R&J didn't tickle my fancy, at all. It tastes like black licorice, and with black licorice, a person either loves it or hates it. Mudslides like a skruf stark also, the only thing i liked about R&J was the great little can, nice rubbery grip finish.

should be allowed in the us

I think it's stupid that swedish companies won't ship to the us. It makes zero sense. It may be cuban tobacco, but surely it isn't manufactured in cuba, and if it were, it's still exported to sweden. I can get romeo dominican and montecristo cigars here in the us. . Lift the ban and ship the snus. It's legal.

You are mistaken, digital erik. It is illegal to import Cuban tobacco in the US. It doesn't matter if the snus was manufactured in Cuba or the moon, it contains Cuban tobacco. The Montecristos and Romeo Y Julieta cigars that you enjoy that are sold here are of the Dominican variety; ie, they are grown and rolled in the DR= hence, Dominican tobacco. They have nothing in common with the Cuban brands that share the same name, except possibly the seeds that are used.

By that logic Taboka AS can take the Cuban seeds and grow their own tobacco from those seeds in their native Scandinavia. That wouldn't make it Cuban tobacco, it would make it Swedish tobacco, and it would be perfectly legal to ship to the US. That's why we have Taboka snus but no R&J and Monte.

I recently came across a can of Romeo Y Julieta Senorita (mini portions). And I felt like sharing a review.

The can is really unique, unlike any Snus can I've ever had before. It is a metal tin, feel like it's made of the same material the American Camel "SNUS" is made out of.

The portions are of course mini, and are packed full, and are also about the same size/shape as American Camel "SNUS", VERY comfortable mouthfeel. (this is where the comparisons end with that, I promise). The can is a little hard to open, it's kind of awkward until you figure it out. Upon opening it, I was greeted with a smell unlike anything else. This snus being made with Cuban tobacco gives it a very unique taste in smell, unlike any other snus I've ever had before. The smell is much like the smell of a Cuban cigar, slightly sweet, but yet smells of tobacco.

Upon putting in a portion, I realized it was quite dry, so I took it out, misted/prewet it, and put it back in, and was greeted with an amazing flavor. It was a sweet/peppery flavor, very unique and not like any other flavor I've had in snus before. The flavor was long lasting, and stayed consistent the whole way through. The nic hit was mild, it provided a mellow buzz which was enjoyable and perfectly matched with the sweet but yet mild flavor of the tobacco.

All in all, I found it to be a very good snus. If you come across some, I suggest you try it.
