Oh okay, I live in virginia so I'm not sure what the set amount would be, it all seems a bit confusing and ridiculous but oh well I'm not gonna worry about it haha

Here's how I think it works........we are talking about Sales/Use Tax.....the tax you normally pay at the store when you purchase something, a state, county, or city tax and has nothing to do with Federal Income Tax....if you don't pay sales tax at the point of sale, then you must pay use tax by filing a form and paying the tax if your total taxable purchases are over a set amount, $ 770 in Mn, $ 600 Ca, etc, usually to your state. With online purchases the seller has to have a tax account with each state, some do and some don;t.....if they don't there is no mechanism in place to pay the tax other than the buyer voluntarily filing the Use Tax form and paying the tax.......so we don't......

There is an entire "hat" department in Washington that specializes in just these sort of random generations........not to be confused with the "out of your ass" department.....or the Congress

Northerner was the only company that collected taxes. Otherwise, you're supposed to claim it on your taxes; probably through a special form.

started a topic How do you pay snus taxes (minnesota)?

How do you pay snus taxes (minnesota)?

I checked out the stickied thread above about state taxes and didn't really find an answer to my question.

I'm new to snus as well and I ordered from buysnus (if this helps - trying not to advertise).

How do you pay taxes on snus?

Spent the last couple of days searching around. Figured I'd ask here if anyone knows.
