Gevorg may have his issues, but he has been very generous on here. Feel free to question his motives, I guess, but the soap opera is getting old.

I'm surprised you didn't turn them off of snus. Oden's is literally the worse portion snus ever made.....

I'm sure there are some people on snuson that do kiss up to GN and are scared to say things bad about Oden's because they are expecting free snus and don't want to ruin that but like Snus Dog said I think most of us were just confused. Yes there was no promise of free snus from the beginning but it was called a competition and competition implies the winners will well win something so to me it was implied that there would be some sort of snus prize. I feel very bad for Snottgiff because he hasn't got snus for being a winner twice now. I don't blame Whalen at all, I never thought it was his job to insure we got snus the way I saw it was that Gevorg told him to come up with a random contest to give snus to some winners which I think he did a very good job with. I am also not really mad at Gevorg I was just confused and was looking for some sort of communication and or apology. He said he will be sending out snus to the winners and I'm pretty sure he apologized (my Swenglish is not very good) so that is fine with me for now. As for BigBlue he was the first person I had direct contact with on this site and helped me out a lot in the beginning. I have a lot of respect for him and don't really know what is going on with him and Gevorg but it's not really my business. As for me I don't think I ever sugar coated my love or hate of GN products. I have openly said I hate Oden's 59 and think Oden's Blueberry is strange but I also love Oden's Cold and Olde Ving 99 and those weren't said in hopes of getting free snus it was the truth. As for the Frosted issue I was aware of what was going on but I guess it didn't bother me as much as most (in either direction) as I hadn't been around as long as most of you. I just wish the site would get back to how it was when I first joined because it definitely seems the activity of members is lacking at this point even in the vaping threads.

To Gevorg you said that you haven't let down anyone and will not and for me personally I do not feel overly let down at this point and hope you will make it right as you say but please at the very least send Snottgifff something he has been "extremely" patient and has every right to feel let down in my opinion.

I thought I had a pretty good time line on what went on when, but I missed the memo on the decision not to award snus. I can be slow to pick up on these things. But I was cueing on the growing frustration of newer members who did not get the memo either. But I think someone should communicate these things.

So instead of clearing this up, this is even more confusing. I do not want or expect snus, but there are some who participated in more than my contest, and won snus, who still are waiting. So I get it that some pissy comments were made about buying favor, by a small group BTW. But for some, this revisionista policy has screwed em big time. Why do you think I am asking GN to declare his intentions in my previous post? Just because you guys reached an understanding about..............

Here's the deal.

GN has lost all control over whom he promised, what, when.......... He needs to deal with that..........Real freakin soon.. IMHO.
Start with Snotgiff a two time loser..He won, you promised, end of story.

As far as cancelling out existing commitments, be careful and thorough with how you handle that.

Future: Keep pimping snus. What ever you want, samples, ect. After all it is a great marketing tool.

But, if you decide to send snus for whatever reason, send them right away.

While I get why there was a change in attitude about sending snus, and why, you just do not pretend it never happened.

And I believe this is what happens after GN gets mad, and only comes here with four word replies, for months after being one of the most active members. All we wanted was some interaction and clarifications. Screw all of this..........

Let’s stop for a second and recall how all this went down. I think as we do, we might find that a lot of the mutual frustration voiced here is mutually understandable.

When the contest started it seemed to be on a whim and to liven things up a bit. It was never clear (until later) that there would be any prizes. Whalen did a fantastic job putting it together and it was a great deal of fun.

Towards the end of the contest GN said he would send the winners some snus and asked them to send him their addresses via email.

However, shortly thereafter the whole forum blew up over Frosted getting banned. During the course of that conversation there was a great deal of bitching about GN sending free snus to members and thus trying to buy off the site.

My guess is that since sending free snus seemed to upset everyone GN was hesitant to send out more. Therefore, the contest (which never started as a free give away but only became one because everyone kept asking) became a non-give away because everyone seemed to say that’s how things should be.

Fast forward a month or so and now we are all upset because we did not get snus that we say we do not like because we said we do not want it. Well it can’t be both ways. We need to make up our minds.

Unfortunately in the midst of all this there have been civilian casualties. The first is Whalen, who I did not realize until he posted it, felt responsible and somehow in the middle of the whole thing. I don’t think that was ever anyone’s intent or expectation. In other words, at least for myself, I never felt whalen was responsible for insuring the prizes.

The second group of civilian casualties are the everyday members of the site who had no part in the bitching about GN sending snus and were only playing the game in good faith. They are disappointed and don’t really know all the background. All they know is that they were looking forward to snus and it did not come.

My point in writing this is for them. I don’t think anyone was trying to screw or cheat anyone (certainly not Whalen). Things unfold in real time and when we understand the context in which decisions were made (even when we disagree) they become a bit more understandable. That’s all.

I’ll leave ya’ll to work out the details with GN.

I was terribly nervous to do it knowing that many members who had won on the other thread contest never recieved snus. I tried my best. I have been trying to get you to send them what you promised. This is a serious matter and needs to be dealt with. These guy's have shown increadable patience up till now, and the backlash I feared has begun. This is all so awkward to deal with, but I believe the anger is going to render the situation into another site meltdown, sadly my last.

on tuesday i will send to every body snus who won .
No one said any bed wards about it that snus hasnt came yet, i will fix it and i will make double, but you know better than others that (poison and matter) which flashes out from smalblue goes on my nervs
